And by the way, being out of the "in crowd" does not make you a social failure. Because the in crowd is all about pretending and showing off.

My defenition of social failure is anyone who does not have more than 1 or 2 friends, or anyone who is being ignored by large number of people, or anyone who is constantly being picked on for no reason, even if they are at a new place around new people who do not know that he or she has been picked on in the past by anyone. A social failure is someone who is not trust worthy.. Is someone who is not friendly, and does not try to make friends.

I hope you all got what I meant.

Not at all. Not at all. I have a feeling you're pretty tough.

LOL. A couple of days ago my boyfriend was telling me that I looked very pretty on that day, and it was his first time to see me looking like a girl!

His comment annoyed me, so, yeah... I hit him. So, yes, I guess I am pretty tough :P

I was about to quote Stan's sentence, too, Dee.. but you've done so already. I'm also happy being a social failiure by the first definition, but absolutely not by your definition..

And I think Stan misspelled it, I think he meant "though", not "tough"

:P

No...I meant tough.

As far as the American Dream...well, I think it's the human dream to achieve your goals. It has always been my goal to raise my children in an environment much different than that which I was raised. My parents were loving but there were issues with addictions and other things that made me realize one day that I needed to work hard and smart to not perpetuate the vice that ran through my family for generations. I turned my dream into a vision, my vision into goals and my goals into action.

Social failure?

My life is far from that.

Those of you who know me, or know of me can attest to that.

Aye - even the fact I STILL am without internet at home won't keep me away for too long.

Rawr!

I have hopes that the situation will be resolved soon.
