Family Friendly Format follows the Fickle Finger of Fate. FCC.

And Kinvoya, I was thinking of you and the asshat while playing Kingdom of Loathing yesterday. My character was wearing a bum cheek for a hat!

@madprofit You read my mind man!

I loved playing KoL but I had to stop because it took too much time and my clans were always bugging me to play more. If you connect two bum cheeks with some meat paste I think you actually get an asshat don't you? I bet you were one of the hundreds of guys who were always giving me free stuff, weren't you?

Did you see where Rev made me erase my insulting asshat comment and apologized to Yo Yo? That hurt, man.

That was what made me think of it, K.

That was the only funny joke in that whole friggin' thread!

As far as being sedated, there is nothing wrong with a nice cold Budweiser after work to kick back and relax with, so mark be down with a yes. Just be legal about it kiddies.

EDIT: Logged in to KoL and did some adventuring until I could make the asshat tonight.   Stench resistance!

Do what you will. I've always found altering one's mind disgusting.

It may be where, how and with whom I grew up, but It always seems that I have a very hard time of scraping together any respect for those who do that.

Perhaps it's a bit narrow minded, but it's hard to change old perceptions, espicially when you are constantly reminded why it is you think that.

As far as I understood it, "Family Friendly" is a myth. Noone has approved that this is what the forum should be. The CD started calling it that, but I don't know that it's really true that this is to be "family friendly." *shrugs*

Erm... this is gonna sound bad... but you apologized to me? Musta skipped over it :)

Besides, it's not as if that name hurts me. I've been called much worse by family :)

Jesus Christ you guys need to CHILL OUT. My god! I get bored and have a Ramones song stuck in my head, so I make a thread. There have been more pointless, more "vulgar" threads out there. There's no need to freak out. It's not like I was misleading with the title of the thread anyway, what the hell did you think I met? "Don't bother me"... Instead of getting pissy, why don't you just not read the thread? Or if you REALY gotta add your two pesos, why don't you vote on the poll?

Aww yeah, them's good eatin' on a lazy Sunday afternoon with the NASCAR race goin'. :D Good time, good times. Passed out on the couch a very satisfied man. Almost as good as Thanksgiving (aka Tryptophan Thursday).

The Ramones kick ass. Or at least the song in mention does.

And Schme has yet to prove me otherwise.

I've got the Ramone's version of "It's a Wonderful World" running through my head at the moment. It's amazing to me that such a wonderful old song could still translate quite well into punk without losing any of it's power. I think everybody needs to give that and....who did the punk cover of "Over the Rainbow" a couple of years ago?

Hey, hey, man, don't get all angry at me now. There's no need to get yourself all riled up.

Hey, I've got and idea! Why don't you just go pop a few? That'll calm you right down.

*Shrugs* If you're buying Schme...

Although i usually dislike trying to turn others around to my way of thinking about *coughs* "Substances" i really think Schme's one of those people who'd be so much cooler if he had a joint in him.. seriously, try everything twice.. good philosophy

Edit: And the Clash are the best punk band ever. Full stop...

The Clash were good, not quite the emotion of the Sex Pistols, but they were a bit more intelligent about it. (How's that for understatement? )

Honestly though, I think Green Day is the greatest punk band of all time, just slightly edging out the Clash. Despite people ragging on them for their popularity, they are the truest definition of punk that we have around today. Their lyrics are brutally honest socio-political commentary, and they don't let anyone tell them what their music is supposed to sound like. I especially like their statement in response to people complainaing about the accoustic mellowness when they realeased "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)". They said at the time it was the most punk song they could release, because it had all just turned into an excuse to cuss and scream with a guitar in your hand. Now that's rebellion. :D

#3 all time for me would be Bad Religion. "21st Century Digitial Boy"
