I was glad to see my Bucs win. I am not naive enough to think they are going to top a division that includes new orleans (and I agree RG3 looked really good) and Atlanta. Freeman has some weapons now, though our once vaunted defense is not what it used to be. Still good... but lukewarm water gets spit out. Good luck to everyone and lets hope that the replacement officials don't get anybody paralyzed.

I'm more of a NCAA fan, Saturday games all the way. Then I am from Alabama, where the national title has been for the past 3 years and probably will stay this year as well. Any other college football fans here?

I like Ncaa... Since my Alma is UCF, football is hard to take so far though they are getting better every year. There is always a contender in florida it seems, right now its usually UF...though FSU, miami, have a heck of a history and USF is also starting to come of age. But I agree that the odds on favorite is Alabama. Pretty much whoever emerges from the SEC is a veteran team after that rigorous schedule. Alot of people just don't notice until the BCS comes out, now that we have it, perhaps there will be some excitement.

I'm Portuguese and although I love football(soccer), the corruptive state of the portuguese league is slowly driving me away to new sports. I've been following your handegg ( :P ) games slightly and I gotta say, you have quite impressive shows! The completely filled stadiums impress me the most. Now, who'd you recommend a foreigner to support? I don't want the packers. I know they win, but something makes me not like them.

You can not get a good answer to that because we all have our own favorite teams. You can be a bandwagon jumper and go for the popular winning teams like the Packers, Giants, Saints, or Patriots. I suggest you watch a bunch of different teams and see who you enjoy watching. My team is the Redskins and we drafted an amazing young quarterback. The games are now fun to watch. We score points. We don't always win but we are in the game.

If you enjoy watching American Football and you have no team, just watch the games and figure out if there is a team you enjoy more than the rest.

I admit that two years ago, of all the teams that made the playoffs, I wanted the Vikings to win.

Why do they insist calling it football? They play with their hands, all dressed up in hockey gear.
