I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. It is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Only I will remain.

I know there are alot of Smith's when i said that i was just being a smart ass shall we say? Before the name was changed to Smith it was Porter, we can only trace ours back 4 generations though, thats on my fathers side, on my mothers side its traced all the way back to the first. Im just curious to learn about the Porters, wonder if my great great great great grandfather was a criminal and changed his name.
Know some Cole's and some Lovelace's, went to school with em. Dont know much about their family though.

Lol. My last name is really easy. "van de Belt"
Everyone with that last name comes from IJsselmuiden, as it's the only place where the name exists. (originally).
Either the people there had no imagination whatsoever, or we're heavily inbred.
The name means we're "from" a manmade hill the houses were built on to protect from floods.
And no, I do not know any Lenseths. Strange name BTW. At least Smith and miller are a bit more obvious.

Well, Dutch are somewhat Celtic, correct? Mostly Anglo I believe though but if you have any Celtic ancestors then there is a pretty good chance of the inbred stuff.
Aye, I can only go back to Paulaus (or Peter) Lenseth who came over from Norway in the early 1900s who then created the Lenseth family here in America. Name wasn't changed or anything either when he got to America except that he changed his first name because the immigration documents from Norway have Lenseth the same way. Well every Lenseth living and dead can be traced back to me in one form or another. Well, except this Vera Lenseth that I was recently made aware of but I think she was married to one of my Grandfather's uncles. Not sure yet because the only person directly related to her won't allow us to open her records and find out who her husband and children are. I guess there is bad blood between his family and the Lenseth family which is really sad because this would have happened many, many years ago before even my Grandfather's time. Plus the guy is like 90 years old so he can die at anytime and when he dies so will the knowledge.

Anyways, if anyone lives in Norway and plays Cantr maybe you can help me?
