Well, if you haven't bought the DVD set then you can at Amazon.com. Only around $30.

Plus make a stop by www.fireflyfans.net. It is one of the larger gathering sites for Browncoats. Learn some information about the upcoming Firefly movie Serenity.

It all sounds good to me, i'll have to get that sometime, always looking for another movie and/or tv show to buy on dvd. Have both seasons of 24 of dvd, have to say thats one of the best shows i have seen, that Band of Brothers and Firefly.

Maybe firfly can be like Star Trek- The Next Generation, always liked the TNG show and movies.

You can download episodes from here;

http://www.versaphile.com/download/firefly.html

But it is highly recommended, if you like it, to buy the DVD set. Put a DVD ROM drive onto your computer if you haven't one yet. Problem solved. Believe me, Firefly is well worth it.

It's amazing. I've watched 3 episodes today, and I'm thinking about watching a 4th once I do my laundry.

The best part is that they are rewatchable. You can watch them over and over again and they never get old. Plus, Joss Whedon is a great story teller and when he tells a story he goes into great detail so watching it multiple times you pick out things that you didn't before.

Just notice that the episodes were out of order on the site that you can download them out. This is the order you will want to watch the episodes in;

SERENITY
THE TRAIN JOB
BUSHWHACKED
SHINDIG
SAFE
OUR MRS. REYNOLDS
JAYNESTOWN
OUT OF GAS
ARIEL
WAR STORIES
TRASH
THE MESSAGE
HEART OF GOLD
OBJECTS IN SPACE

Well, fark. I watched them in the order specified on that damn site.

Ah well.

Couldn't mess up the order more than Fox did.

So, Hunter, what did you think of the episode of Firefly? Was it the the first episode or was it another? Maybe describe the episode and I will be able to tell.

What about the rest of you that I haven't heard from yet? Jeslange, Thomas, Jos, and anyone else? Tell me what you think about what you have seen of the series thus far.

It was OK, but not as amazing as amazing as I expected after hearing all those stories here.

What episode it was? Dunno... Thye one where this tattoo'd guy gets kicked into the engine.

Funny thing is, usually every new series get's highlighted in the magazines here. (Those with the broadcasting schedule). I would have thought that because it's new, and has such a pool of dedicated fans, it would have got at least a description of what this series is about. :?
Life is fun. Play naked with Psycho-Pixie.

"and so are we..."

Yep, they screwed it up. They showed the pilot (called the Train Job) and not the original two hour pilot that actually introduces you to the story and the character. I guess you're right that foreign tv doesn't do a better job.

You could download the two hour pilot. And believe me, there are better episodes than the Train Job such as Out of Gas or The Message. The best episodes are towards the end of the series. So don't give up on the series and hope that they show you them in Holland. If not, you could always download and even buy the DVD later.

Well, I successfully converted Nick to being a Browncoat. So I have West, Brandon, Jos, Thomas, who else that I have converted from Cantr to being Browncoats?

Now who's next to be converted to becoming a Browncoat? Jeslange, I believe you showed some interest a while back.

I'm in, if I get to dress like the guy on your old avvy. Does being a Browncoat involve frequent opportunities for me to use my shotgun? It pretty sweet with fire suppression an' all.

I'm a rebel and a runner, a soul who's flying clean, a restless young romantic who wants to beat the big machine.

I have a problem with the Allies but my victory is sure. I'm cleaning up the systems to keep my freedom pure, learning to match the beat of the core world man, learning to catch the heat of the rim world man.

I've got to make my own mistakes and learn to mend the mess I make. I'm old enough to know what's right and young enough not to choose it. I'm noble enough to free the 'verse but weak enough to lose it.

I'm a Browncoat Woman. I'm a stolen goods receiver who comes from factories and farms. I'm a herder and ranger and a young woman bearing arms. I've got a problem with the powers. My weapons on patrol.

I've got to walk the valley and keep it in control, trying to save the day from the core world man, trying to pave the way for the rim world man.

I'm not concerned with yesterday. I know constant change is here today. I'm noble enough to know what's right but weak enough not to choose it. I'm wise enough to free the 'verse but fool enough to lose it.

I'm a Browncoat Woman learning to match the beat of the core world man. I'm learning to catch the heat of the rim world man.

From what I have read you seem to have already seen it.

And you can dress anyway you like and use that shotgun if you like.

Did you make up that little bit or did you pick it up from somewhere else?
