I think the whole molestation thing was just not true. Sure, Jackson was pretty weird, but I don't think he was a child rapist. And anyway, him being dead sucks, as he's like....the father of pop.

It always feels weird when someone who's rather a symbol than a person dies. It felt the same when the last pope died and it will feel the same when the Queen of Britain will finally resign. It's not so much about the person, but about your view of the world.

I feel so much older all of a sudden. It won't be long before there's people old enough for me to talk to yet young enough to not remember Michael Jackson alive, and I'll play the role of the older, nostalgic dude, like people do with Elvis or something.

Off-topic maybe but I know queens can abdicate (resign) but im not sure that it's the norm. They tend to have to die and then the crown is passed to the air to the thrown.

The King is dead! Long live the Queen

Anyway back on-topic

I think some people esspecialy younger people will remember Micheal for what he was accused of and the strange things he did rather than what he did for music.

To put this in context all I heard at school today were Micheal Jackson jokes and very few people actually mentioned his music

To me it felt more like when James Brown died. Godfather of soul.

Yea..most grown adult men ask a 10 year old boy's parents if he can come over for a sleepover and they sleep in the same bed. Completely normal behavior....

That doesn't mean it wasn't fabricated... the parents in this case could just be trying to get money or something.

It was never proven that he actually did it. If he did, the guy was a sicko. If he didn't, I kinda feel bad for him.
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

The guy already had a skin disease. No, I'm not just misinformed. But he did have a disease which was killing the melanin in his skin, thus making huge white spots everywhere. Must have been miserable, and then he became all hideously pale. And then this molestation thing.

This is the Michael Jackson I remember:

Twas the summertime of 1970 and we would run through sprinklers in our paisley bikinis, snap our fingers, and listen to the Jackson Five on 45's. We thought the world was a great place indeed.
