That’s it, Chris…the follow-up to Elite was called Frontier, with greatly-improved graphics to the original game, and was immensely addictive - followed by a further addition of Frontier II - 'First Encounters', which I’ve never managed to get a copy of, as my Amiga 464 had long since blown a fuse and expired by the time it was released.
Er what? Amiga 464? Do you mean Amiga 500/600 or Amstrad CPC 464?

Tricky, but...
Legend Of Zelda, Ocerina of Time
Final Fantasy VII
Oblivion
GoldenEye/Perfect Dark (The unofficial sequel)
GTA San Andreas
Other mentions go to Metal Gear Solid, Super Smash Bros Melee (I absolutely loved this game, can't wait for brawl), Sonic (The early megadrive ones), Devil May Cry, Fable, Shogun Total War - and the rest of the Total War series, and a whole host of others

It's difficult to rate or rank games from different genres, but I'll give it a try:
1. Thief 2
The story and the environment is amazing. You can almost feel the smell of the industrial, yet old city. I guess I'm a sucker for 1st person sneaker-games.
2. Oblivion
Freedom, absolute freedom, in a very very big and exciting world. The many quests, cities, monsters, characters, items and choices at hand... it's almost as good as it gets.
3. Morrowind
Only slightly inferior to Oblivion
4. Thief 3
The atmosphere is sometimes even greater than it was in Thief 2, but the animations along with some other ill-chosen changes makes it slightly less exciting than Thief 2.
5. Warcraft 2
Yep, I love it. I'm sure Warcraft 3 is a far more better game, but I can't stand the childish animations. Warcraft 2 is what it should look and feel like.

Oh wow... I'll see what I can remember!
1. Harvest Moon series, though I didn't get to play the early ones, I like FoMT and AWL the best!
2. Zelda series, namely Links Awakening. I have to say, of all the Zelda games, this was my favourite, Ocarina of Time coming in close second. Then again, I also really liked Oracle of Ages/Seasons.
3. Phantasy Star! I have no idea what makes it so addictive and playable, but it is.
4. Exile series, especially Blades of Exile. Great fun, except BoA and time have caused the amount of new scenarios being created to drop to virtually nil... *sigh*
5. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance/Time Splitters II + FP/Super Smash Brothers Melee/Myst/Riven/Streets of Rage II...
Really had trouble deciding on another 'favourite' for number five, so I stuck those ones in. I'm sure there's one I would put above all of them as my number five, but I really can't remember what it is. My mind keeps going back to Harvest Moon.
Has anyone else on here played HM? I first saw a Harvest Moon game when I was browsing through my Action Replay and thought "Hmm, Harvest Moon, that sounds good. And look! I have two cheats!" I finally bought my first game about four years later, but it was FoMT, not number 2.

5 best games?
1 Original "Perfect Dark" on the 64. 360 version sucks.
2 Sim City series even back to NES Sim City.
3 I agree with DylPickle on the Civilization series.
4 Mario Cart on the SNES and 64.
5 NascarRacing on the GameCube.
6 Must add GoldenEye. Classic fun.
Pefect Dark, Mario Cart and NascarRacing are soo fun to play
when switching between 6 or 7 people. Did not rate them to top 3
only because those are the top 3 mutiplayer games.

Hmm.. no particular order for me..
Zelda (Nintendo, on all consoles starting with Gameboy) (Ocarina of Time is the best! I'm still working on Twilight Princess and the doofy looking one.. Wind Waker), Drakkan: the Ancient Gates (ps2), World of Warcraft, Kingdom Hearts (ps2), Dark Cloud (ps2).. those are what I play most at the moment anyway.
Well, I finished Drakkan... and I only play KH when my sister is around (I think we're almost done with the first one)... and I haven't played Dark Cloud in a long time. I've been playing WoW a lot lately. I've played Zelda more recently than Dark Cloud but not more recently than KH, I believe, as I went and saw my sister a couple of weeks ago. All depends on my mood.. whether I want to pick up chickens or build towns or get ganked. Or do the ganking...
Hah, as if I could..
