What do you think about this idea? Would you play a game like this?

I like it, but I wouldn't play it. I'd just stick with Cantr.

Well, the game would be quite substantially different from Cantr, not just in terms of setting, but still ...

What computer language were you programing the game in?

I think that it should eventually be an addition to Cantr to have space travel as well. I mean we are going to have air travel soon and it is only a matter of time before Cantarians are going to go for the next step. I think vehicles such as rockets ect.. could be added into cantr a good ways down the road and eventually start space colonization as well.

C++, but not at all sure that's the way to go. It's my favourite language, although I must admit that implementing simple things still takes much longer than in PHP and there are always more bugs. But it might not at all be the smartest way to go.

Considering the current ratio cars/chars, I don't think this will happen anytime soon ;) ... But yes, I can well see how it could someday happen.

The idea of starting a new, second game is also to correct some "mistakes" with Cantr, though, so this is not really a counter argument :).

You know, I've said this before, and I might just say it again.

WE DON'T NEED AIR TRAVEL. It won't be used by anyone for so long, just as car's aren't verry populous, IT also took so verry long for them to even be built. And I doubt, even with the advances in technolagy and industry we have in cantr, it would still take to long to have anything mass produced, and we alredy have the technolagy (galleons, and cars, and we can have those police car thingies (the back is locked away from the front) If you still need the extra safety of having another cabin that you have talked about in trains, Added onto the idea of just having the other person hand over his/her wepons when they get into the car. ANd gues what? IRL, Hijacking's do happen.) and we don't need trains, we just need to wait until the things we ALREDY HAVE get mass produced.

Air travel such as the "Airplane" and "Helicopter" are already created in the Resource Department. We are just waiting for game progression before adding them.

Yes I like C++ too, but I am surprised you were writing the game in it. It does take forever to make anything even if it is simple.
