Momento

An action flick that runs backwards (rather, each scene precedes the ones before it in the timeline), still makes sense, and is quite good on top of that. It has earned my love. :D

That's the movie that was trying to get from the back of my head when I was mentioning the War films about SE Asia. I especially liked the placement of John Lennon's Imagine at the end of it. I believe it was first aired at the GA in the UN to standing ovation, if my trivia has me right.

I think you are refering to the Allegory of the Cave (Plato)?

Because it's best to see Firefly before seeing Serenity . . .I can't even imagine what the movie must've been like for someone who hadn't seen the fantastic show

Actually I believe the movie was Memento...And it really was a good movie.

Anyways, I would choose American History X because...well...its just a great movie.

Oh, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (if I recall correctly).

Would have to agree with Diego on 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'. An awesome film.

Off the top of my head I would also add 'Saving Private Ryan', 'The Mission' and 'Apocolypse Now', among countless others.

There's this Doors song in it, rather . . . out there. I believe it's called "The End."

Anything with The Doors music on it is bound to be good.

I considered that to be good since it (a) Featured Val Kilmer (b) Introduced me to The Doors.
