I found some HTML games on javascript.com would you be able to play them in a note or just see them. Like if i pasted the HTML code for a game on a note, made it non-editable, gave it to you to look at, would you be able to play it or would you have to edit the note to play, in wich case all you would see is code.

If I'm understanding it correctly people would be able to play it even if it was non-editable. However the results would only exist while they were browsing the note.

A way to make multiple player games within the game...

Have the game be an object with a use function like a harvestor.
An indivual object would be created by tools with some resoruces.
When the game object is used the results are stored in Cantr.
Each single use of the game object would create a message for all around, making for some very "noisy" chess games.
Looking at the game would not create a message.
The javascript to do this would be part of Cantr.

I doubt if you should use Javascript in notes.

I think it is more fun to design new games and sports that fit in with the Cantr concept (see also thread about sports). Why copy chess from outside Cantr into the game? You can play chess elsewhere :) ... It's really more interesting to be slightly more innovative and think of games that are possible in the world of our characters ...

So you mean they just might get implemented someday? In that case "arena" sports would be nice. To settle disagreements between players in a non mortal way. or just for fun... Like Ceasar's supposed to have said... (come to think of it, a new combat based on skill and luck should be implemented then, otherwisse there wouldn't be a challenge.

BTW. Jos, founs some spare time lying around? You're quite active on the forum's today.

No, sports won't be 'implemented' soon - I think people should be able to develop sports within the current game already. E.g. rallies, fights, puzzles, writing contests, debating clubs, bingo, .... all are already possible, I think.

And yes, Christmas is approaching, so I have a little bit more time ;) ... I'm actually writing exams this week, but when I'm really busy, I tend to spend more time doing other things :D ...
