As for the reason I have this avatar, it's not because I have AADs *shrugs*. Thanks to all those to complimented "my" avatar, nonetheless (you know who you are and I know who you are

My new signiture is what one of my simple, but nostalgically favorite characters once said, or at least it is the jist of what he said
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we" - George W. Bush

Mine is a picture of me drawn in Paintbrush by a friend at univerisity. We were meant to be doing a JAVA software engineering project, but that was rather dull, so my friend Justen spent his time drawing headless chicken, rabid dogs, and a little picture of all 9 people in the group.
The text that went with it (on a webpage that we left in as part of our final submission) read:
"Simon is a mild-mannered restauranteur by day, but a costumed superhero by night. Capable of leaping small obstacles with only a short run up, the vicious criminal element of York has been beaten into near-submission by this winged vigilante. When not stalking the dark streets of the city as y-Man, Simon enjoys throwing Brussels sprouts at potted palms. Simon originates from Calcutta, and as a result is extremely fond of jelly and ice cream. Simon claims to be the most intelligent member of the group. We're not sure what he means, but as soon as we've found a dictionary we'll decide if he's right. Simon writes stuff down, and fixes stuff that we write down. For this, we love him."
[of course, the y in y-man should be the Greek letter psi]
As for my username, that was due to the fact that in 1998, I couldn't register "simon@hotmail.com" so had to go for something else. Refusing to be Simon2482163582354@hotmail.com, or use my full name, initials and all sorts, I just spelled Simon funny. Since then, I've used psymann as the login name for various things, just with different passwords - to the extent where online, I no longer respond to my real name most of the time! And because it comes from an e-mail address, I've always spelt it with a lower-case p.
The two were first put together for War of Empires, where I needed an avatar for the forum, and had of course already registered as psymann.
Bizarrely, you also get a fair few hits for me if you type in Hairy Whale into google... but that's a different story...

Nope, it's that Greek "psi" character again.

(maybe, I will change it soon, so...)
Mine is a piece of a picture I found in internet.
I liked it and got it, and since it is a picture of a man (or a monster, or whatever, but something with two eyes) with some... not charisma... maybe presence is the word?. Anyhow, it makes me think that "man" has plenty of knowledge behind those eyes...
And my nick pretend to mean "Fountain of Mind"
