Thought or Rant of the day!!!

Been on beta blockers for 3(?) days now. Suspicious that they may have fucked my ability to drink coffee. Or they've worn off and I need to take my wake-up pill before coffee instead of after, and it's just me feeling my heart speed up because they've worn off.

(First cup of coffee usually lowers my heart rate, been using it to manage my tachycardia since I was a teen. I wouldn't mind the beta blockers replacing coffee in that function, except I'm also an insomniac suffering from an additional unknown sleep disorder that makes what sleep I get not especially restful, and without coffee I'm a spectacularly hopeless zombie barely capable of speech and spend a disturbing amount of time walking into walls. Not sure what I'll chose if I have to pick between "awake enough to feel almost like a real person" and "not have a heart perpetually a few bpm short of a heart attack")

Life keeps shitting on me. I've lost the will do do anything. And despite having significant time to play Cantr I just sit and stare at the login screen debating whether I can actually do any decent RP for the characters around mine or if it's pointless. I keep leaning to pointless.

That's a bummer Rebma. I know how it feels, I've sat on my character screen several times these last couple weeks, just staring at the list of light up characters going "man I can't step into any of their shoes right now, do I even want to read the events or should I just wait to do that?" Although for me it's been plain old exhaustion and not a heaping pile of life's crap.

Real life is actually going ok for once. Sort of ok anyway.

My reasons are mostly because my creativity has stalled. My characters have gotten old and most have lived out their stories. I have kept them around because they are old and I've grown attached but they are useless characters these days sleepy and holding others back. Or they're young ones that I created and have no will to bother to play. I'm not as attached to the game as I used to be unfortunately.

I'll still be around and have a few but some of my older ones will be going. They'll be the ones that affect people the most I think. One in particular will I know. The rest may not be missed.

Today I joined to first funeral of my life and sent my most beloved and graceful art proffesor to his last travel. It brought many memories from a good past, but also reminded me that growing sucks in some aspects. I want to be a 20 years old silly girl again.

Sometimes I get the feeling that I don't get to talk enough. Then I usually write a whole bunch, but I'm not sure if many people read what I right. They might just see a wall of text and skip it.

Recently my teeth have been bugging me. It doesn't really hurt but the grooves in my molars feel like they have gotten deeper. Since public healthcare can't give me an update until next fall unless I'm in terrible pain, I booked an appointment with a private dentist. It will be good to know if I have cavities and if so, get them fixed. It's pretty crazy that a person who already has had several cavities only gets to see a dentist every two years unless they pay double for it.

It's a funny feeling how I'm feeling creative and vaguely frustrated at the same time.

I have my sketchbook, my dry colored pencils, and two days of a hurricane and probably no power for a week (because our power company sucks). Which means no phone (can't charge it) and no Internet, and very limited drinking water.

Now that I think about it, I should have brought my watercolor pencils instead. I left them at the place more likely to get blown away.

Oh well. At least there's drawing.

I'm kinda sad I'm gonna miss the first major hurricane to hit Florida in like 10 years.

I'm not sure missing hurricanes are something to be sad about... Count your lucky stars we are in Australia instead. Alladinsane was saying it's a category 4, which is classified as causing "catastrophic" damage. We're talking people becoming homeless, powerless, foodless, waterless. In a few hours, it can make an entire town or city into the equivalent of a developing country. It's scary. People will die (Alladin's words).
