But they're impeaching her due to widespread corruption within her party, right? Just because she's a beloved revolutionary doesn't mean she gets a pass to run the country into the ground when it's already in/facing a recession.

No. There are people from her party who were denounced, tried and convicted, but against she there is no charge of corruption. It is not even being investigated. What is only an irregular accounting operation being interpreted as irregular fiscal operation. Even the Court of Auditors not come yet to review the case. We have not a parliamentary system where Congress can remove a head of government simply for disagree with their policies. Our regime is presidential and only in case of crime specifically defined in the Constitution is that a president may be removed. And there is no crime by her. In contrast, two thirds of the deputies who voted against she, claiming a crime that does not exist, these yes, are being investigated and even prosecuted for crimes.
The press does not report on cases of corruption involving the opposition, while omitting the existence of popular demonstration in favor of constitutional legality. The press supports lies against the president and amplifies the impact of anti-government demonstrations. The only media we have is the internet (blogs, facebook and twitter), alternative and traditional way, with the support of expelled journalists from the traditional media. We got to the point of putting a crowd of thousands in front of the country's largest television station, and they do not report the event.
The powers of the judiciary, previously primed by the parties that are now opponents, judge in violation of the Constitution. Pro-government politicians are being arrested and convicted without evidence, and the media makes people believe that justice is being done and fostering the illusion that the solution to all the corruption in the country is solely and simply for the overthrow of the current government.

Interesting! A lot of the US media and even Australian news push the narrative of a legal impeachment due to widespread corruption within her party (but agree she is blameless.)

The great Brazil's problem is corruption. It is endemic to all institutions, all levels of government, all political parties. But it was only in the government of the current president that was created new laws to fight corruption and give independence to the police and judicial bodies to act widely. That was the mistake, because the investigative agencies and Justice itself also suffers from corruption. Together with the economic elite, with all the mainstream media (which is in the hands of only 6 families from this elite), with the middle class misinformed and stupefied by this media, this police and this justice are commanding a "witch hunt" against left parties while ignoring or acquit the right parties for the same crimes, and using methods that would be inadmissible in any country (and Brazil also is), it was the case of a judge of lower court determine the surveillance of the phone's own President - and the Supreme Court does nothing against the abuse. And every day there is an abuse.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
My husband and I spent three awesome days in London. I had no idea how crowded this city is. I ticked a few things on my life to do list. Like riding on a double-decker, or visiting British pub or going to King's Cross station. If you ever go to the UK and need something to eat, you should dine at Moonflame's, I swear.
My husband keeps bugging, bah, begging me to make him the full English breakfast now! Where on earth am I supposed to find baked beans in Poland?
Thank you Moonie for making my life British for a few days!

London, one of the best towns in the world... Oh, such a green envy, greener than Cantr, Alutka!
If your husband is not too picky, maybe a can of Campbells baked beans will do the trick? It worked for me, after my first trip to London with full English breakfast, but doesn't taste the same at home...
Sure there are recipes in the net, we want photos if you finally do!
I'll also be in London again in a couple of weeks, with two friends that never been there. Barely 42 hours and a very limited budget, I'm driving myself crazy to plan the best and simplest route to see the most typical spots (all on foot!) and still save time to party at night. Cideeeeer! By now, I managed to cut it down to 12 + 16 km, plus the distances walked inside museums and markets, and so. We're going to die! I can't wait for the date, though!

Haha that was nice to come back to. It doesn't bother me. I don't actually live there, it's just a big nearby city. I might as well have written Toronto for all the distance. Still, hilarious.
Hi guys I'm back! Three weeks away and ...ten states passed through? I think? My brain is still in vacation mode. Having Internet again is weiiird I only had access here and there.
Also I am addicted to "southern" food. Culture shock! So good! Weee!

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Argh.... never sending a character to the Spanish areas again, unless I actually decide to play in Spanish for some inexplicable reason. (Inexplicable because my level of fluency in Spanish is "high school Spanish classes"). It's super annoying because I know enough Spanish to actually phrase my character's desires in reasonably good Spanish, but my character doesn't know how the grammar works, or more than the few words related to what she wants, in the dictionaries she has. It's slightly maddening, trying to play this game right.
At least with Polish my character's level of knowledge and my level of knowledge are the same. (By which I mean, I didn't know any Polish before playing her in a Polish area). I like Polish.

Turning out to be such a wonderful night at work. *rolls eyes* I seriously wondered how much trouble I would get in for taking this guys food and throwing it out of the window. There is no reason to chomp on food like that. It was either throw the food out of the window or him. -_-
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

My son is teething. Another sleepless night.
