See, I know the big ones are just a joke but I was actually under the impressions koalas would sometimes do the same thing on account of being territorial jerks.
Change of subject time: in Germany, raccoons are an invasive species, introduced by a Nazi who thought they were cute or something and now they kill birds and ride subways and things. Also they're called wash bears, which is adorable. :3

The one thing truly frightening about a koala (aside from the fact it is a sex-crazed walking STD machine) are the sounds the males make. They sound like big, angry dinosaurs.
But yeah. I'm about to have my first vegemite and cheese toasty today. Pregnancy is fucking weird sometimes.

Death from drop bear /is/ a natural cause in Australia.
And Wolfsong, you forgot to mention drugged out of their tiny little minds. Their livers are crap, and eucalypt leaves are full of wonderful chemicals. End result, these 'cute' things aren't staring about, and blinking because they're calm, but because they're stoned.

I wish I could have more than 15 characters. It seems unfair that I would have to kill one off in order to make room for a new one, even if I had a cool idea for a character.

I may have gotten a wee bit carried away with a bottle of wine last night, and I woke up to find I had recorded a half-decent cover of a song on my iPad. The beautiful part is, I haven't heard the song in about 3 years and I've never played it in my life. I don't even remember recording it.

The kids next door are blaring horrible music very, very loudly. I feel old by being annoyed by it, but I'm trying to watch something online and I have the volume up full, earphones in...and I can still hear their music over it!

That really would be loud music if I heard it all the way from Australia!

I've had Ella Henderson's song "Ghost" stuck in my head for a solid week and I just am about to go insane. Listening to the song did not make it stop.

There are too many possible cures for me to know which ones to list, but I'm usually happy to just always have a song I like stuck in my head. I hope one of them works for you.unhearit wrote:We created this site for those of you that have a song stuck in your head and you can't get it out no matter what you do. Using the latest in reverse-auditory-melodic-unstickification technology, we've been able to allow our users to “unhear” songs by hearing equally catchy songs. So really all we're doing is making you forget your old song by replacing it with another one... sorry.
Edit: As a result of listening to the first song that came up for me on unhearit.com because I liked it even though I really wanted to keep the earwoom I'd caught on the forum here yesterday because I liked that one too, my brain has gone about a remixing project in order to keep both songs going and I now have a most beautiful battle of "Weird" Al's Amish Paradise, Fergie's Glamorous, and The Black Eyed Peas Meet Me Halfway ringing between my ears. I love it, but it's highly distracting. Try site at your own risk.

Went out shopping for baby stuff this Saturday. Bought land and a house package instead. Still no baby stuff.

The weather has finally turned to cold and rainy, so... I have a nice, crackling fire going in the fireplace. It isn't that cold in fact, but I was just unable to stop myself from making a fire. My husband has just woken up and he is all like 'Seriously, you really had to do that?' and has this smirk of his on his face. But well... at least I have the fire.

All you need to do is eat tons of carrots and sweet potatoes and other things with beta carotene to turn your skin orange and then you really will be the Carrot Lord!
