It took me *forever* to figure out what continent you were talking about. Lol But yeah, Denmark, somewhere else and the USA was the way they listed it. The USA being the third oldest. I honestly feel like it shouldn't bother me. I mean the world began for me in 1992 so anything before that was completely unconnected with me anyway.

My daughter and I saw The Mockingjay - Part 1 today. It has well exceeded our expectations, and we really enjoyed watching it. It was a bit of a shame to associate the last scene (which is supposed to be heart wrenching) with something really funny for us, so we couldn't stop laughing, but hey. What was also funny was that when we were buying the tickets, they thought my daughter was a teen (she's 5'2", a mere inch shorter than me) - she just turned 11 a few days ago.

Nice to hear a good opinion of it. Will be seeing it in a few days. I thought the last film was good but felt too glossed-over. But I guess that's true of most book-to-movie projects.

First day back to work after a 2 week time off for a death in the family and I get roped into a 12 hour shift. Never have I been so ready to get off work in my life.
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

Best wishes and warm vibrations to your way Shedevil. All will be past.

I hope December will bring more sunshine. In November we have had five hours of sun.

Five. Hours.

Was having the worst day today, and I was just about to retreat to my Den and have a bit of a sulk, and then I got the most adorable letter from my best friend, who's currently in Japan. Now I've gone and teared up, and can't wipe a grin off my face... Damn.

One of the main roads in my town is having major work done on it overnight from about 8pm every weekday...for some reason, whoever is in charge of ensuring there are warning signs about this sort of thing, likes to go waaay overboard... :| There are 'road closed ahead' signs every 100 meters (or less) all the way across to the other side of town. If you don't know about the works because you've come from out of town, then you'd be completely lost as to where the works actually are! You'd probably think you can't get where you want to go, when in fact, there's still another 20 freakin' road signs after where you're wanting

*Deep breath*

And don't even get me started on how several of these signs have been placed taking up half a lane on the road - and one of those is very close on one side of a bridge...just around a slight bend, so you don't see it until you're about to drive into it!

It's funny to see how the "road works" are the same everywhere, no matter the country

Welp... as of several days ago, one of my characters I'd been hoping would encounter slavers has now become a slave. I'm not sure how to feel about the fact that I'm rather enjoying the creepiness of her situation.

Also I have a new phone. It's a smartphone. I didn't really want one before, but I need a GPS to get around; I have no sense of direction.

What did you do, park her on a desserted coast with a sign around her neck that said "enslave me?"

One of my characters is convinced there's a slaver town somewhere. Sadly I know that was ages ago and it's a peaceful (bah) place now.
