Sorry to hear about your bad, terrible, no good day.

But please, never apologize for being excited to see Rick Springfield. While I've never had the pleasure, my wife has seen him in concert twice. This was in the 1980's. I think Corey Hart opened for him. And I'm sure she would jump at the chance to see him again.

Moreover, as any middling hipster can tell you, Rick Springfield actually has developed a strong reputation among skilled musicians and those in the know over the last couple of decades. Dumb people don't believe this, even when provided evidence... but you and I know different.

Enjoy the hell out of the show.
