At the Simpsons household, Marge is cooking beans when lo and behold,
mighty Homercles appears!

Homercles: Come to Homercles!
Marge: [laughs] I can't! The beans will burn!
Homercles: Homercles cares not for beans!
[lifts up Marge on her shoulder]

They walk into Selma and the kids returning from Duff Gardens. Marge
looks embarrassed.

Homer: Hi, kids, how was Duff Gardens?
Lisa: Can't talk, coming down. [takes some pills]

Selma: How do you do it, Homer?
Homer: You take an ordinary bedsheet, fold it around like th--
Selma: No, I mean raising kids! I just couldn't cut it today. All I
wanted was a little version of me I could hold in my arms.

My girlfriend is away for the weekend. Kind of funny considering she is really only probably 5200 miles away instead of the usual 5100 miles away. It's amazing how short an internet connection can be.

In an unrelated note, I think I might quit in a few months. Time to focus on closing that distance for real now.

Ah yes I vaugly remember that episode. I think Lisa fell in the beer during the small world rip off thing. Now Dudel knows what your talking about and its now less funny. Simpsons died out of the funny when Family Guy took its thunder. Family Guy is funnier!

I see you still have time to comment on Dudel's comment so eithor your version of less time and mine are abstracte to another or you misscalculated how much time you'd lose.

Two Things:

1: My brain says they are related because the both involve your girlfriend and yourself, directally or indirectally

2: Maybe not quit but just be 'less involved' have less chars or have your chrs be a little more sleepy then normal. Eithor seems like a good comprimise to me. But I am Dudel and not wichita so who knows. Dudel says do what you feal is best and ignore everyone else.

Just to get things straight, are you talking about quitting the game or about quitting your job?

I did the stupidest thing last night...
Yesterday the boyfriend's friend comes over and hangs out for a bit, then decides he wants to go to an off-road vehicle park that he goes to all the time. The boyfriend didn't want to go cause he was tired but I was up and bored so I said I'd go. We brought along another friend from the neighborhood with us cause he wanted to go.

So we drive for about half an hour, get out to the middle of nowhere to this park. We were there maybe 20 minutes, driving around in circles cause he was trying to dig a hole or something, I don't know...
Anyways, we get out of the car to look at his 'creation' and I went out the back of the car cause we had the dogs with us.

Well, apparently, his car has this little button in the back next to the door that locks everything. I had no idea this little button was there but I guess I hit it while I was crawling out of the car. So we get out and put the dogs back into the car and shut the doors. We go and look at the wonderful little mudhole and file back to the car.

Yeah...I locked the keys in the car. Friggin' Awesome...
So we sat there for like 15 minutes trying to get the dogs to magically unlock the door but of course they couldn't figure it out and just sat there staring at us like we're stupid.

So finally the friend gives up and throws a rock through his window. $150 later and he has a new window, a pissed off father and a very sorry and stupid feeling friend...

@ Piscator and West

Since the game usually feels like my job, both are right. Actually, my job has just been promoted to 'tolerable' lately, so...

@ Severine

My siblings did the same thing to me while we were stopped for gas. No dogs to help. The worst part was that we were on our way to our grandparents' house for Thanksgiving Day dinner. NOOO!!!

$60 for a locksmith and we arrived after most of the mashed potatoes were eaten. grrr

Bigger version:

We went to a restaurant. It was horrible. I ate rice and ice cream and watched poor lobsters with their claws taped in some tiny aquarium, waiting to be thrown in boiling hot water and then be eaten by people.

The reason all I ate was rice because everything else had meat in it.
Luckily we were with my uncle, aunt etc so I was distracted most of the time and ate lots of (delicious, btw) rice with tiny carrot pieces and stuff in it.

And after that some ice cream. :) So-so. I'd prefer going somewhere where they don't have meat here, meat there except for the rice. >_>
