Oh, damn, I can't stop laughing!

Don't remember where I was - I realized life was a game - The more seriously I took things - The harder the rules became

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
My friend rang and was reading the paper and saw a small town was having a medieval festival today. So we're going, the drive is an hour and a half and the weather forecast is for heavy showers and thunderstorms..... packing the thermos flask and raincoats etc.
Reveal to me the mysteries
Can you tell me what it means?
Explain these motions and metaphors
Unlock these secrets in me
Describe the vision, the meaning is missing
Won't anybody listen?

Yay, non-hardware challenged lappy is back. It's mostly fixed. Mostly because I think there's an issue with the video card (so it is becoming hardware challenged). But hopefully it will not be too annoying to use (it's still faster) until I can save the money for the desktop I want to build. That will be a long while though.

What a hoot! I loved it all!
I fired a crossbow, wielded a battle axe (well nearly, it was so heavy, it wielded me), wore chain mail, held iron shields, wooden shields, wasters and swords. Used a lathe and spun and carded wool. I fired a catapult and got put in the stocks, danced and generally was merry.

Next time you should aim to build a helicopter engine.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I am having issues with things in my life, Some is rather scary and I am not sure how to handle it.. the other very well could be.
I took a job 3000 miles from home, since there wasn't one near home and this one.. well the pay is amazing.
Problem is, I am alone.. I have no people I hang with, except while I am at work. I have tried to make friends of course, but it has been 2 years and .. well I sit alone still. I have to pay a taxi for procedures / surgeries I am having done, because I cannot drive.
I am just a bit frustrated..

Take driving lessons? I know that means getting a car, which is an expense unto itself. Too bad online friends can't teleport for visits. I know my life would be happier were that the case.

Uh, Doug? You're not really allowed to drive if you've been in surgery and are all doped up on anesthesia.

Just for good measure, I can verify that Sunni can drive under normal circumstances.
