724 pages...... i do believe this is the largest and most active topic on the cantr forums.

presently i have a few random thoughts and rants.... the last time i was on here was 3 years ago, but i think i actually lost interest in the game 4 years ago when all my toons that i cared about died.

i actually thought it had been longer that that. i remember being in high school playing this game. that was 6 years ago. according to the forum my last post was actually 3 years ago. i was also playing this game in college. i don't remember how it happened but one day my step dad made me quit this game. it got to the point that any time i was on the computer he thought i was on cantr, which most of the time during those days i was actually trying to do other things on the side, like write. basically, i didn't get any peace until i quit the game right in front of him. at least after that he didn't care what i did, even if it was another game. does that sound lame? well that's life. the authority figures of our lives shape what we do and who we are. i don't regret quitting the game, but i do regret it not being on my own terms.

i'll have to do some digging to figure out how long i've been away. i know its been longer than three years, but then again the forum doesn't lie. my last post was roughly 3 years ago.

So It turns out that the everything happens for a reason thing came up this last week. After all my car issues, I got to talking with my brother. He and his wife have actually been LOOKING for a car, since they both work and one has to walk two/three miles to work every day. Well my little car seems to be just the thing for them. (the white one that was overheating). My brother did find a coolant leak but it's something that he can fix somehow. I had a title loan on it which was only $300 left, told them that's all I needed to get it off my insurance and they're paying me $500 for it. I kept it to give it to someone in the family that might need it, wasn't expecting more for it. (due to the overheating issue). So, now I have the car I wanted. They have the car they needed and will be fixing it up so they can use it. Funny how all the little coincidences one right after the other happened to have everything work out for us all. Anyway, I am loving my new car even if I do have car payments every month again to pay and Im glad to have been able to help out someone in need in my family.

Gah. All these nerves. So glad it should be over in a couple of hours. Interviews are nerve wracking enough, and worse when combined with the weirdness of being interviewed by one of your closest friends. I so want this job though. I need a fresh start.
