One detail about US elections: the number of electors from a state equals their number of senators + representatives. So it is 2 + something roughly proportional to population. More power to Rhode Island  .

Second detail: The president has been chosen by congress in at least one election. Not recent, but when Andrew Jackson failed to oust whoever it was in office at the time, the election had been decided by congress. Against the popular vote, I think.

I'd compare it to drug legalization. They have to show the bribes pubilically so people can make assumptions on how they vote when in office. If it wasn't for open bribery then all bribes would be secret.

But it doesn't bother you that USA is really run by corporations?

about the Green Party

Ouch...they must have kicked themselves after the election.

Different industries have competing interests.
At least we know which one they are.
In other place the industries do this behind the scenes.
So nothin is different but knowledge of it.

In Sweden the corporations doesn't run much anyway.
I would bet they would love to have a more right wing government :)

That is sort of a problem really...corporations moving out of the country because they don't have to pay as much taxes and so on in other countries.

Latest conspiracy theory:

The reason that all the councillors were outside of Krif when everyone was slaughtered was because it is all a plot by them to destroy Krif completely

You have to wonder, though...Silverfoot and the Eagles in Seatown Forest, disgraced and abandoned, all the councilors out of town...

somebody couldn't have framed it better.

There are things about that region that happen and exist that few characters know about. If you were knee deep into this stuff as my character is then you would be scared as to how deep and organized this is and how it lead to one man.....coughMaycoughcoughnardcoughcoughcough.

Oh, sorry about that.
