@Indio: Okay, I'm fine with jokes, and I like sarcasm, but make it clear. A single smiley (or whatever) goes a long way. Sarcasm is intrinsically somewhat offensive, so it can easily be taken badly. It's particularly easy to do so when the sarcasm, if taken seriously, would be a direct attack on the other person. Saying "boo hoo, no one cares" (http://www.cantr.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1412&start=15) could be sarcasm or it could be a direct personal attack. If you don't say anything else, how is anybody to know which it is?

What a sad, twisted turn this topic had made :( Y'all have made me very sad(although curing my bordeom). Don't make me get an adorable little girl to come look sad and cry and make a puppy face. Or even a 13 year old girl who LOOKS like an an adorable little girl....not that I...know any, or anything....

Here's a question: Do people prefer writing in blue pen or black pen?
I like blue.

I like black... but I am thinking of starting to alternate between blue black and red for my Physics notes... too jumbled otherwise.

I think when you sign a business letter, it should be done in black ink... as for taking notes or just writing for personal reasons, I don't really have a preference.

oddly, I haven't written in blue for years. Maybe it would help. My handwriting is generally horrible.

@Indio: Hey, at least I can spell and use basic grammar.

@ WEST: hey who needs to spell corectly when you can speak four different languages

Black inks better. Why? because it seems odly enough to come out a lot darker than blue ink.

Black...fine tipped felt

But that was back when supplies could still be purchased.
Now we use the left over materials from the desks of people who have been laid off.

Mostly red ink ball points are what is left over.

And piles and piles of useless wide felt yellow highlighters. I think those usally get boxed up and dontated.

It's better to be literate in one language than look like an idiot in four.

but yeah: aren't you glad the 'gel pen' fad is over?
