Back from a mideival reenactment group this weekend. Had a blast but I'm sooooo tired.

There was swordfighting, dagger/axe/spear throwing, camping in tents, a feast, court with the prince and princess and a bonfire revel last night with drums and songs and stories! Even a few pirates and a treasure hunt. Everyone was dressed up beautifully, and it was a lot of fun. Some of you may have enjoyed it. And there were many many times throughout the weekend that I was reminded of cantr!!! What a blast. Looking forward to the next event here.

In a few years, after angering the Prince and Princess enough, they may try to oust you and your minions, leading to a water-balloon boat battle which leads to your exile, establishment of your own reenactment group, followed by your return in a decade to take over the old group, only to discover that the old group never really survived the schism and that instead of an epic mock sword battle, everyone's actually happy to see you.

My hot water tank blew out, flooding my kitchen and the neighbors below. They couldn't get the valve shut off, so they shut my water off at the road. I was suppose to be on call today, but I now have to be here to let the plumber in.. so far, I have yet to hear that they have even found anyone to come out.

Grrr....Hate it when people do that, it doesn't really prove anything seeing as anyone could write it and it could be better roleplayed. Instead they could explain that they were working on it in their own words, or simply pick it up and only explain what you're doing if someone asks.

Sorry to hear that Sunni. It's always a good idea to check all your valves once a year and get them replaced if they don't work...or at least for the knowledge that they don't work. (I have valve issues in my old house).
