Crazy stuff going on in my life.
Well, firstly on Tuesday (I almost wrote "Wednesday" just now, can you tell I'm tired?) I had Solo & Ensemble State, to which you may or may not care to know that I received an Excellent on my AS solo (my judge completely tore me apart, for serious), a Superior w/Distinction on my CL solo (my performance is on YouTube), and straight superiors for the jazz band.
Wednesday was a very lazy day, as all of you who have characters around mine probably know. I forgot my phone in the bathroom at home before school, though. I also think that's when I started getting sick, a cold or something.
Thursday (yesterday) was percussion rehearsal, and then nothing but homework. All the way to 11:30. I usually go to bed at 10 on a school night. I spent most of the day sneezing, sniffing, and trying to pressure point my headaches away. I took half a Zyrtec before I went to bed, and I guess it helped.
This morning I seriously struggled with whether or not to go in today. We had this thing called Mathlympics at the local community college, though, and I wanted to go. Plus, I had to turn in all that work I did last night. So went in. My team got third place at Mathlympics this year. I was happy. I got a free thermos, lol. Anyway, I got home, ate some homemade tortillas (estuvieron muy deliciosas), and went to take a naap. Now I feel worse, like I should still be asleep. Everything is warm or too hot to me (I'm used to being too cold most of the time) and my stomach has this strange feeling that I can't identify (it's not really pain, it's not nausea, it's not hunger or thirst). Maybe I am getting sick.
Tomorrow we have Indoor Percussion State Championships in Daytona. It's going to be crazy. I hope I'm up for it. I'm supposed to be hydrating like crazy for it, but I can't bring myself to drink that much water even though I know I'm not very well hydrated right now.
And then Sunday is for lessons, church, and this huge homework assignment that really should have gotten done during Spring Break.
I don't even want to think about how much Cantr stuff I'm going to have to read.
