It is not like how it used to be. I mean, the people are nice. But it's not the good ole days. Hasn't been the same since the mishap we had with a channel owner getting a bit control crazy...

The last time I worked a whole 14 hours straight, I didn't feel at all enriched until later the same night, when I spent a proportion of the shit load of cash I got for it in the bar.

Well I feel enriched right now: I just unintentionally took a two-hour nap complete with a crazy dream that I can't remember anymore.

So, there's a 1000-acre brush fire near my house. We were driving home after jazz mpa and my friend's mom called to tell us that we'd have to take an alternate route home because part of the main road to get there was closed off to all traffic due to a fire. Well, a few minutes after we hung up, the trees cleared and we saw a huge orange aura in one spot. Given how far away we were from it at the time, we knew it must be big.

After dropping off the extra passengers at their houses my mom aand I drove down the main main road. At some point we were literally close enough to see flames. As we took a different alternate route, it started snowing ashhes on our car.

So far the fire hasn't reached us, but we could very well be evacuated.


But on the bright side, we made straight superiors in jazz.
