Thought or Rant of the day!!!

Technically albinos have a sheen of pink in their eyes that shows mainly when light is reflected on them. I know an albino. The lack of pigment in their skin and hair isn't as extreme as you see in the movies. The boy I know has blue eyes with the pink sheen, and has the eye twitch that's often associated with albinism.

I got home a little over thirty minutes ago.
I spent twenty minutes woodshedding a part that I /have/ to be able to play tomorrow.
Bedtime. No Cantr for me at all today.

I can't wait until all this is over and I can stop to smell the roses again.

Having a very girly day with my "lil" one - a haircut for both of us, some pampering for me, little treats and now having a teacake and snacks. Sadly, I have to go in to work after 3 as I have to lodge a document. Even that won't dampen my mood, though. I am off again next Tuesday, Thursday and Wednesday. Yay for half term.

Apologies to all for neglecting characters -- tech week for my play which opens tomorrow means no time to be on the computer at night, and business at work+ finding ways other than cantr to goof off (and being behind a week in email, as well), means haven't played much during the day, either. Hopefully next week will be less crazy -- only one rehearsal.

Weird, half the Internet isn't working on my Mom's computer, even though they are on Dad's computer. I can access Cantr and the forums (which even load fast) but google doesn't load. Nothing seems to work except Cantr.

Ugggh...I'm still playing cantr when I have a face full of makeup, a sink full of dishes, a very serious meeting in nine hours with my son's school administrators and the parents of the other 6th graders, and then another performance of my play pretty much right after. What the hell is wrong with me????

(update 2 hours later... okay, finally took off the makeup, except the spray on hair dye, which, due to my wife working on Sunday mornings, I'm going to have to keep on throughout the morning school meeting, since I don't have anyone else who can apply it, and am now going to tackle the dishes before having some sleep before my meeting which is in 7.5 hours)

I am both appalled and amused by a letter I just received from the Court - I keep laughing each time I read it but rage within saying "is he taking the mick?!"
Lol, it would make a great addition to the "funny stuff" thread... Alas.
