I don't understand
All right, I have been thinking and I still don't get it but why do the Europeans get a Special Edition Firefy DVD and us American don't? Can anyone explain this to me, please?

Uumm, ain't that the wild wild west in space series? That's what you get, when Uncle Sam comes to restrict you. What I read from a magazine, the big guys didn't like the series because it doesn't represent capitalism or something enough, so it got canceled after a limited amount of episodes.

Well, you are talking about Firefly but I don't think Firefly was making any political statements. It does seem to have a libertarian feel to it in the form of Captain Malcolm Reynolds, a former rebel (Independent) soldier who had fought against the ruling government.
Watch it.
Not sure about the whole cancelling thing but it wouldn't be oustide the realm of possibilities. But 20th Century FOX supported Firefly while it was FOX TV Network that didn't. And Firefly isn't dead. It will be returning in 2005 in a feature movie made by Universal with all the original cast members and by the creator Joss Whedon.
