Aldria Open Mush

Postby lulkoek » Wed Aug 12, 2009 1:58 pm

Seeing how many good roleplayers are around on Cantr and how the normal Mu* community is dwindling, I wondered how many people here would be/are interested in a roleplaying environment that runs real time.

So far it doesn't have much code (that said I still need ot build up some stuff like a wiki and such on the website too), but that's partly the idea.

Like Cantr, this Mush will grow a history based on what players do.
It has no combat system though, counting on your imagination instead.
It has no firm limits, almost everything is open for discussion with fellow players and admin.

You can find 'more' info here: http://aldria.mushhosting.net

As you'll see, it's all pretty basic for now, but that's why I launched this thread here. The game could do with more players, more input and more ideas. Any input appreciated, :)

NOTE: to play the game itself, you'll need a Telnet client!

Not really, I was working on it before I got on Cantr, :) but it sure is inspired by Cantr's free spirit. *actually found Cantr when he found out couldn't get on his Mushes from work, :(*

I don't know if you ever RPed in a chat room or so, it's more closely linked to that than to Cantr.

Not that easy to describe actually, but I think Wikipedia might have an article on Mushes. They came forth from MUDs which are the text based ancestors of the current MMORPGs.

Do you have 95 beta-testers?

No, as I didn't do a beta test, :P

Besides, I'm sure Chase has 100 testers by now, :D
