Yeah, but I believe that the theory is if we send a lot of unmeaningful messages you get a meaningful. Hence if you break up an object into a lot of subatomic particles you can send it through faster than the speed of light, but I think the trick is getting them back together. Like on Star Trek with the "beam me up scotty".

i for one fully believe in life arising across the endless universe and depending how far you wanna travel from earth you would probably come across another civillization. for the longest time people have believed earth is were all life exists and the reast of the universe being dead. i don't understand how it could even be possible for life to be here and only here. the galaxy is virtually teaming with life (that includes worlds with only microbes to worlds with advanced alien civillizations). as for the idea about the universe having limits..... i consider it one of those "the world is flat" arguments. in due time we will learn that there is no limit or age to the universe.
