No, I haven't got a Spanish char and I don't see a reason for creating one. Just playing in German zone exposes me to all the Spanish I could ever want to read.

I had one for a very long time. I started her out of curiosity and a desire to somewhat keep up my Spanish skills. It seemed the perfect opportunity since I was no longer taking classes or in a situation where I needed (or was able to use) it.

Alas, with less time to spend thinking about that char, some life turmoil and my waning interest (in some ways it was more being disheartened) in the game for over a year, she went by the wayside... a long time ago. Probably one of the first of most of my chars I had to let go for my own sanity's sake (the chars were not a problem, but I felt guilty that I had so little interest in playing them) and the sake of other chars around them. I only kept a very few through that time that I just could not let go.
