Touhou is a Bullet Hell Shoot 'em Up kind of game.
Impossible-looking bullet patterns are something you'll see a lot in this serie of Shmup games.

It's basically girls shooting the hell out of eachother.

I've played Imperishable Nights, and I can vouche for the fact that this game is incredibly hard.
The trick is to learn the bullet patterns and exploit gaps in the formation.
But it is extremely enjoyable and the music is pretty sweet.

YAY, other Touhou players. :)
Yeah, like in Perfect Cherry Blossom in extra stage you will have to learn every pattern EXACTLY to be able to finish it without using bombs.

Who's your favorite character? Mine is Flandre Scarlet. :)

And do you listen to IOSYS/COOL&CREATE/Silver Forest? And do you watch Touhou M-1 (Grand prix)?
