SHHHhhh!!

Actually - I didn't realise that, so much for me having such a slow computer that anything I type into a forum post box doesn't appear until I've stopped pressing keys for about ten seconds...

I apologise schme

Whatever immensely important announcement you had at the bottom of your post that required a very large pause before being read - feel free to add it back (sans the 100 blank lines)

I can't say I remember what the last line was.

I don't really remember putting a large blank space there, either, though. If I did, thanks for fixing it, as I don't think I put it there on purpose. If I did, I can't imagine why.

In any case, don't worry about the last line.

Today I found Laura's phone number online and I sent her a message saying "Thank you for making school a living hell, you were a total bitch. I hope you've grown up." She replied "I'm sorry. I had no right for that and neither did the others."

For ten years I've been living in hate, maybe it's time to let go.

Luckily, I saw most of the people grow up that picked on me. I really liked some people in 12th grade which I hated in 6th.

Is it because they want to feel cooler, or more superior? Or what exactly? Is it a psychopatic thing?

I mean, I'm sure most of us have been picked on in school or outside school... At least once!

And I admit, I used to be picked on in high school.... But thankfully only for a little time, because I was a new kid and all... But that didn't last long... Thank God for that... It sure does feel awful!

Do you want to share stories? Or opinions? Or whatever?

Maybe it is because some people are just funny looking but this is coming from someone who is often times the butt of jokes so my words don't really count here.

not sure if this has been said but i beleive it is mainly because of two causes. (1) a learned behavior from the parents ( if the parents are racist the child will be racist ) or (2) a lack of social experiences ( thus resulting in them not knowing how to cope with someone who seems " different " ).

solution? talk to your kids, and be a decent parent. of course people suck, so this is not an easy solution.

seen as i have mild autism it was easy to get picked on. it kind of sucked cause i didn't really seem autistic at all, so people assumed i was simply a social outcast. what's even worse is i was picked on since i was very young and just recovering from brain surgery, so i barely remember it, but i've ALWAYS been extremely over-protective of myself ( my mom told me i slammed a bigger kids head against the metal part of the bus window and broke his tooth ). why is being " over-protective " a bad thing? cause it makes me look like a violent person, and i'm not......not by choice at least.

next time you see a kid who is cleary different think twice before " having a little fun ". you could wind up with one less tooth and turning a confused kid into a violent headcase.
