It's all about what perfection is for you. But you may be right, what I described in my last post was a optimal society, not a perfect one. :)

If people are getting judged, I would have a hard time calling it perfect. Those that are judged poorly are going to be having a bad day. But that is a topic that is probably more suited for the ill fated Religion thread.

yes it should be in the religion thread. What I ment whas that the socioty created after it will be, as it will be based on what peoples goodness is.

(Just to clear this up, god will judge wisely (the firey pit is reserved for the devil, his minions, and all liers, and for people who reject god, they get what they want. A place without god, and hence, a place "sheol(or hade's), a place of darknes and gnashing of teeth(I hope they have dentists  ) and then theres (allegedly) purgatory, and then there's like, three other levels, one (the best) reserved for the "bride" of people (the best of them I suppose (no, he's not being racist))

If you have any questions or interjections about that, then just PM me, or move it to the religion thread.

An individual's Utopia is anohter's Dystopia. Hence the perfect society is an impossibility.

Thinking on larger terms - the best situation for the planet as a whole? Wipe out the human race.

ahh, buts whats the best thing for the human race as a whole, that is the real point in question when it comes to the perfect society IMO. Now someone might say "in that case, fuck the environment" but thats not true. havign a bad environment is bad for the human race.

And I guess having houses like the jesons would minimize damage to the surface of the planet, though you never do see the bottoms of those.

Do you really think it matter to the planet as a whole how its outermost shell looks like? And even life had managed to survive much worse catastrophes than humanity. Ecosystems come and go. The only reason to keep the current one is to grant a convenient life to all of us. Wiping out humanity would therefore be quite pointless in my opinion.

The perfect country is a land entirely made up of enlightened people.

Thus, an empty room.
