I played for several months. It was fun, but very intense. You have to put a lot of time in to do well. If you are successful and join a strong tribe, you will have more and more cities to manage -- which I found to be drudgery. And then there are the politics, which people get insanely emotionally involved in. Most people burn out, sooner or later.
