Linkin Park concert

I went to a Linkin Park concert at the MEN arena in Manchester on Sunday and it was mental! Did any other Mancunian Cantrians go? What did you think if so?

I hope this doesn't turn into a topic to flame my music tastes, but does anyone else like Linkin Park?

I like them, or at least some of their older stuff. I almost went to see them one year, but it didn't work out. Haven't listened to their newer stuff much yet.

The new stuff is hot and cold.
It's strange... Every second song is more slanted towards emo-style (or lack there of ;) ) but the other ones are kinda cool. I can't remember if it's odds or even, but it seriously alternates between bad or good.

in my humble opinion they tried to please everyone with their music but ended up pleasing most people just a little bit.

The first album I really liked. bits of reanimation are fantastic. The rest since has just been really poor.

[opinion]OMG I absolutely love their Reanimation album of Hybrid Theory. Mr. Hahn's KYUR4 TH ICH was completely screaming epicness, and BY_MYSLF's repetitive verses cemented me in its pure awesomness. MY <DSMBR helped me move closer to my religion, and all the guest rappers were completely living Linkin Park's footsteps.

To put it briefly overall, all of Linkin Park's works contributed to make me the person I am today, and I have no regrets about it.[/opinion]
