Not sure, I never had a doc look at the injury since it happened, and by now it's been years ago.
Funny thing though, it happened on my way to first aid, for something else.
I had stepped on a rusty nail during a building renovation project (sister bought an old house and needed it renovated, I was helping with that), I figured it had been less than a year that I had my tetanus shot, but forgot that I took that shot when I was in the army, which was a couple of years before that.
So, my left foot started to swell... and everyone was like "go see a doctor, dude", and I was like "yeah I will, as soon as I have time", because I was too much into my job at that time.
Never called in sick, and never intended to break that habbit.
After a few weeks, my foot was almost the size of a soccerball, had more colors than I knew existed, and I finally called in sick for work because I couldn't stand on that foot anymore.
Then it took a few more days before my sister and my mother managed to drag me to the hospital, under protest, and when we got out of the car in the parkinglot, I still refused any help, figuring I could hop the rest of the way on my good leg.
I made it to within 10 meters of the hospital entrance when my knee must've decided to bend in a way it had never done before, the next thing I remember was that I was seeing the concrete floor, my chest and ribs were hurting, and the air was knocked out of me quite litterally from the impact.
Well, I scratched up and hopped the rest of the way, and it didn't dawn on me when they were treating my foot, that maybe my good knee nending in such an unnatural way was probably a bad thing.
After they spent almost an hour on my foot, I went home again, giving that bad foot all the rest I could, but refusing to use the crutches that I had gotten from the hospital.
It wasn't until days after that, that I noticed the back of my knee on my "good" leg was all purple with tiny dark spots.
On another note, The Lurker, dang... that's definitely not what I can do with my tongue... I have a different four-leave clover lol...
