hey all, i just finished talking to a few staff, and i wanted cantr to go 3-d, they said make a poll, but ive decided to go wif a much more stronger approach, i think if we can get someting around the 5000 mark of names saying i want cantr to go 3-d we might have a chance of them making it 3-d. so, heres wat to do, plz reply with either the following
i want cantr to go 3-d cause it sux how it is
cantr is good but 3-d would b beta
i dont care
cantr is gr8 but needs to be more user friendly
cantr is perfect dont change it
i wwanna try n get cantr to b 3-d. its the perfect sort of game for it!

5,000 replies? I've seen one with somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000... I don't remember exactly how many, but it was a lot... We just kept it going... for a month or two, then we had to change boards... *sigh*
And, I think most will say no 3-d... I know I don't want 3-d..

Cantr is text based for a reason. It was originally text based because it was easy for Jos to make when it was just him. Now it is text based so it loads easier for people on slow computers, keeps bandwidth and server usage down and disuades the WoW generation. (Ie people who want good graphics and lots of violence instead of good Role Play and lots of friendly people).

There are currently 1800 active accounts. Good luck with that.
Oh, and the reason for cantr's pace of development is that it's all done by volunteers. In their spare time. With no money.
