Kirinn, circa 1401 (Spoilers for the 160 day enthusiasts)

Since it should be okay now to talk about this particular TBR event, here goes what I know of it:

Around 1401, a group of TBR led by Nick undocked from the Wolves Wrath in longboats and docked to Kirinn. What happened there, I don't know other than that they brought back three people of importance. These people were Kara, General Scott Lloyd, and Donald Oscher. Kara decided to jump in and undock the boat my char was making a new lock for (because the galleon was unlocked for some reason). She and my char fought over docking control until 1404. When they got back, General Lloyd had been killed as a result of her miscreant behavior.

There was only supposed to be some talking, not killing. At least not any certain killing unless the talking went badly. I guess you can say the talking went badly. That's the only casualty I remember. After that, the same groups, I think, loaded the prisoners into the longboats again to dock to Kirinn again and make some demands or something. I'm fuzzy on the details of that stuff because my char didn't go.

Somehow Kara and Donald got away. Everyone in TBR docked into Kirinn after that and they broke into Cross' Weapons Shop to find nothing. There was like a newspawn or two standing outside in Kirinn and I heard from other sources that some people were dragged and locked up but I think that was before my char stepped into Kirinn; she didn't hear any knocking or see any notes being dragged. They left Kirinn after that.

Someone else will have to fill in the fuzzy details I don't know much of, but that's the timeline I have from my char's experience.

Lets start back at the Kwor Beach incident and move up from there.

I am interested to find out what everyone thinks they know what happened there. Could someone start off telling what they heard or maybe even saw?

Hmm, let's see, I don't think I know anything about that... Not from both sides or anything...

I'll post it in a min... long time ago.

Edit:

Here...

Okay, so.. Kwor Beach, whenever that was.. I didn't start saving turn reports until after that, though I have some files saved. Ah, it was around 1253.

My char and her boyfriend were living peacefully. There was another couple that lived there, Lilly and Lucky. Some well-armed people started showing up. My char's bf was telling her he thought they were TBR. She asked him what TBR was, he just said they were bad. She said, well, maybe they'll go after they build their boats. The stupid-ass TBR Longboat #01 showed up with a thief on it. Lilly and a girl went after the thief, apparently he got to some place and docked, died and they took the boat and whatever might have been on it. They sent someone to let Nick know or something about the boat so they could have it back. My char didn't know what was on it or anything. She wasn't really all that social outside of her bf. Said hi sometimes, but that's all.

Some more TBR arrived... mine included as she fell asleep on a bike with a key (I was moving at the time). Eric Travis was a hidden weapon that even my TBR char didn't know about. Eric pointed to a random girl, which happened to be my char that lived at the beach, and called her horse-faced. This of course pissed off her bf who attacked Travis. Lucky dragged Travis in somewhere to lock him up. Then, all of a sudden, TBR is dragging Lucky and my char's bf into some other lady's house, saying they stole stuff. Lilly had left the beach to go to Kwor and get help. My char heard someone say, "What about her?" And just before I could move her on the road, she was also dragged inside and locked up. During all that, my TBR char was locked on the bike still cuz she gave the key to someone else to get out.

So my char and the two guys were locked up in there, trying to survive and break the lock. She was confused but the only answers she ever got were that it was because she was friends with Lucky and Lilly and she had a rapier. And those answers she got from Fidel Castro. She couldn't drag a note out or catch anyone else.

Nick arrived outside in the meantime and there were more blows, more eating healing food, more disappointing lock break failings. My char died first at the hands of Nick because she only had a bone shield, though I do think she left a nice note for Buff, whom she called some name in it, but I don't remember what it was. So there you go, she died confused and hurt at the hands of people she never knew about.

After she died (and the guys too, I think), Lilly came back and got locked up for awhile but she managed to break the lock I guess and ran off.

I think that's about all I can remember off the top of my head. It's all hazy now. I hate that damn longboat though.

I believe there was a 2nd victim of the raid on Kirinn . Ben Casey of the Kirinn rangers was also killed after a many day docking, undocking battle
on a TBR longboat. He was active in the defence of Kirinn and had been taken after attacking Lord Nick

Your right, we did also kill Ben Casey. I completely forgot about him.

I guess you played him eh Chris? :P

Haha, I didn't forget it.

Stylez was quite happy after being given the thumbs up to finish Ben off himself. ;)

I liked the snide little anti-tbr remarks he made during Stylez's getaway period, btw ;) Whoever played him (Chris?).

I was one of the survivors of those attacks. I played Lauralai. Unfortunately because I have another character on that island, I didn't play Lauralai much. She was one of the ones locked inside the building and was let out, I think by Pink?

I remember sending for help as Ben was being nabbed I believe.

Wow, these guys do sound pretty evil. :? I didn't even realize the part about murdering newspawns who tried to leave in the other thread...I guess I was lucky mine got away.

Anyway, I'm enjoying this thread...I'm amazed all this stuff is/was going on on the island, when I was there it was like everyone just slept.

The eventual fate of a TBR-less Nonirowk, anyways. Everyone and thier favorite buffalo will be sleeping on that island.

Unlike us humans, tension and stress is healthy for cantrians.
Keeps people awake and fed, while lowering the risk of heart-attack?

Never happened, unless they were too stupid to read the easy to understand, posted notes. Even then (unless it was impossible because they left town and refused to turn around) they were just imprisoned until it could be determined that they would be cooperative.

No different than most towns with a jail and strict laws.

Blackrock Forest demanded strict adherence to the laws but never abused friendly, cooperative newspawns or visitors.

Newspawns were tested and forced to leave if they were not considered to be fit for tribe membership. A lot of them got mad about this and told outrageous lies.

Honestly.. If you think TBR was evil for killing people that tried to leave then you better think Karnon is evil. They did the same exact thing to people who tried to walk to the Forest from their town.

Newspawns and older characters were killed only if they walked on the road to Karnon.

Karnon did the same thing with the same road into the Forest.

 People are eventually going to realize that Karnon is slowly taking over the island and make them the next TBR.
