I've been playing for more than a year now, and I officially got my first 3 kills today...I've been pretty pacifistic up till now

Considering Sester is my character, I lost count after 100. (And I am joking). I never counted how many characters my characters killed. Not part of the game in my opinion.

*shudders* Why on earth would anyone count how many people they've killed? Why on Cantr, even?

You have to keep track of the first one per chracter. Who it was. Where it was. The chracter should always remember it. It would be hard to consider the chracter as totally easy going after this.

When you get into numbers higher than 1, "easy going" should go right out the window.

LOL Yes, I agree. But why would you have your character kill anyone in the first place?? None of mine would even consider it!

My chars who've killed all remember their first.

some chars are just totally ruthless in setting about achieving their aims, hence the high body counts for some people

My characters who have killed don't all remember their firsts.

Namely because I don't remember them.

But yeah...I'd estimate that total, my characters have killed over 40 people. Considering I've been playing for over a year real-time, that's not that high.

But, why would any of your characters kill anyone at all? :) I just don't get it. Why can't your characters just be nice? LOL

Because in real life their are assholes and saints and the same goes for Cantr. The assholes kill the saints for out greed and the saints kill the assholes out of protection. It is a lot greyer than that but it's the best way I could explain it.

Remember, Easle Quathak killed Richard Cromwell but didn't do it out of greed but out of protecting his people and his way of life.

Sester Gartaf kills people to protect the Empire from enemies but at the same times kill people to gain more power. And I would think that Sester has had, combining both direct and indirect, killed over a 100 characters by himself. But other than Zak DoUrden and Paoream Safthes, he is the only character of mine that has ever been really violent and use violence to gain what he wants.

*shudders* I understand the Easle thing, though. And if Rachel Williams hadn't already hit Matthew Hardy that day she would have killed him in a heartbeat. So I understand.

Most of my establishment-types get their kills chasing note-thieves and killing murderers.

One, though, kills everyone he can get away with.

Actually, my character was forced to kill them, but I think he's starting to like being evil....

My most ruthless character killed about half a dozen of people, in the service of the Lad army...but I very seldom kill people just because I get a chance to. In my eyes it is very bad RPing...
