I think I read somewhere in the wiki that it can be crushed to iron ore.

The Wiki says.....Iron ore is created by starting a hematite, magnetite or taconite crushing project on a stone table or work bench.

Yes. The yield of iron ore from the three is different.

Magnetite and Taconite- where in Cantr is that found!? and does it make more iron ore for it's per gram value?

You can explain game rules, game mechanics, tips and tricks (e.g. read notes), warnings for newbies about what to do when you spawn, etc. Everything related to resources (how long does it take to manufacture ...? how do I make a ...?) can be openly discussed, except for where certain resources can be found (that would be describing maps). As a rule-of-thumb you should simply never mention any character or location name.

Hematite has the highest yield, that is why it was chosen to replace pure mineable iron. Hopefully that's still the case.

One of my chars are carrying Magnetit. Haven't had any use for it yet...
