Neither do I. I am certainly not a fan of walls, particularly when they're built up to separate rooms instead of holding roofs.
But why should "bad" possibilities be eliminated from Cantr societies simulation? If realistic simulation is wanted, then creators might give players all the options, the worst and the best, in an ethics point of view, for them to have all the elements to choose what they want to do.
If the only way to be is being "good", that "good" does not worth a thing in itself.

I'm not suggesting, I'm discussing. I would be posting in another forum if I was doing that. I do not know about that broken vehicle system, but I don't find out how it can be related with a wall. I was not talking about communications, but about repression.
nateflory wrote:A similar "situation" to the one suggested is to construct a Hall in some location, and encourage everyone "in town" to work inside teh Hall or any number of adjoining rooms.
I'm exactly doing that with one of my characters. And I have seen others had done it too. But that's not the point. With a wall, you don't give the possibility to others of entering the location, so you're protecting your location and its resources.

And is it a suggestion or just trying to spark discussion of some sort...?
Yes, you're right, but we Cantrian countries do not have the possibility of building up that large walls, even if we have our own reasons.
I'm just only posting, trying to find some opinions. If you think it should be a "formal" suggestion -I don't think so, but..- just let me know and I will ask for the move.
fishfin wrote:And there would be a gate in the wall and if it has a lock in it it would have to be unlocked for you to go in?
A gate will be included, with a combination of five different locks. So five different people, wiht five different keys, can only open that gate.
