ah well, societal thing or otherwise, it could potentially mean there is no interaction outside of areas, but then there will be interaction inbetween that area. SO in a way they all become islands of opulation, and maybe allow for more differences between areas etc. So I guess you're right and it does sort itself out, but its a shame we have to wait for 2.0 for it to work

Really? I was just kidding about that when I mentioned it the other day.

No, that's incorrect. The ships got stuck due to a bug, not because of the islands. Few ships ever discovered an uninhabited island. One did, but never managed to return ...

Rick, I dont consider Ladvicitavoi a true multi layered nation, as its all controlled by one person, and the chain of command is too linear. If this gris system is to be introduced, you would at least have to be able to see events happening on other grid squares. And it shoulnt take a whole turn to walk from one to another. Perhaps certain events could be seen from farther, and perhaps since there is whispering and talking, maybe we could add yelling, which would be heard from farther away?

I never said it was multilayered but it is a nation. Plus, I think there is a lot of multilayered. I don't think Hawethorne has as much power as he thinks he has and that goes for others as well.
