Unforgotten Memories

A while back, I used to be a Cantr addict. Quite an active Cantr addict, actually, and definitely quite addicted. However, I stopped playing Cantr when I went away on vacation for a few weeks, and I forgot to do that thing with my account that stops your characters from dying due to inactivity. So I lost all of my dear characters, all of whom I was quite attatched to, and therefore I stopped playing. Perhaps it was a good thing, because I certainly had more time after that. However, although I have not played Cantr since then (probably around 8 months ago), I still do wonder what happened to all of the people that my characters knew. I still have this burning desire that rises up every once in a while to find out what happened after my characters died. I realize that no one may remember my characters, but I still have to know. So here is a list of my characters (the ones that I can remember, at least).

Lt. Celthin of the Karnon Imperial Army (I think he was a Lt, though I'm not entirely sure any more, and I'm not entirely sure if it was Karnon or something else. He also had a thing for Lt. Mari Jane.)

Stone Knight Lan Spiretower from Olipifirovash Forest (My favorite character, I still mourn the loss of him)

Byrn Starpyre, co-founder of the blacksmith in Cantr City (well, not quite co-founder, but he and Mike Gansey basically took over the building, and got the blacksmith up and running again)

Page Arthur Zeus, also of the Stone Knights of Olipifirovash Forest (I believe he was doing stuff with Stone Knight Cherri, and Stone Knight Noah Cobble)

Yogo Kaigen (I think he had something to do with some big fight down in Akypor, between Mol Blesset and her people, and some type of military force that he got involved in down there. His intentions were pure, he just got mixed up in the wrong crowd.)

Steven Duros (he was from some place with a bank, and a quite well-organized economic system, with their own method of currency and everything, as well as a well-organized governmental system. Their currency was the Quii, I believe)

I think that's all of the memorable characters that I had. Does anyone remember any of them?

I'd really like to know what happened to Mari Jane of the Karnon Imperial Army after Celthin died, and what happened to Commander Starfire's unit, since he was in that unit. I feel bad that Celthin died on Mari like that.

I'd also really like to know what happened with the Cantr City Blacksmith, and Mike Gansey, after Byrn died. I spent a lot of time working out prices and a payment system and so on and so forth for the Blacksmith, I hope Mike has continued on with that. The Blacksmith was going to be great. I feel bad that Byrn died off on poor Mike.

At the time of Lan's death, he was leading a group of Stone Knights against a group of pirates that was decimating cities in the Olipifirovash region, along the coastline there. Lan was a very interesting character. He tended to speak formally, and not particularly often. He showed very little facial expression, and was utterly devoted to the Stone Knights. He took battle to a whole new level, and once roleplayed a fight between him and Stone Knight Saladin. Lan was definitely my favorite character, I had so much fun playing him. Also, the Stone Knights were just amazing to be with. I think I need to move on to talking about another character before I start to cry *sniffle*

Page Arthur Zeus came along after Lan, to the very same place, however, and began his journey to Knighthood. He went on an expedition to Olipifirovash, I believe it was, with Stone Knight Cherri Hill, and Stone Knight Noah Cobble. I seem to remember him as always being very respectful, and honouring of the Knights, as he was only a Page. Anyone miss him?

I roleplayed Yogo Kaigen as a very large man, but also very loyal. He got mixed up in some kind of deceit and politics in Akypor, where he was part of a military group, though their leader became corrupt, and asked him to do things that eventually went so much against his character that he rebelled. However, the citizens that he then freed weren't particularly trusting of him, even though he had switched sides. Does anyone remember him?

Steven Duros didn't really have much of an impact on anyone at all. Except maybe for the person who he started work for, since they let him use their bike in order to get the materials for their company faster. He probably died on the bike in some very remote place. Sorry to whoever he was working for.

So that's a list of my characters, and if anyone remembers them, I'd dearly like to know if you have any news of characters from their lives, or anything of the sorts. And sorry if no one remembers my characters, and I'm just wasting space on the forums here.

Page Zeus was not far from becoming a full-fledged Knight before he disapeared.

They posted the fight between Saladin and Lan in the webzine. Well, they wrote it out into more of a story format. Here's the link to that particular article: http://www.cantr.net/e107/e107_plugins/ ... content.43

The only names that sound familiar are Lan Spiretower and Arthur Zeus, but I can't really tell you anything about them or the others as I don't think any of my chars interacted with them. I'm sure some people could though and will soon. :)

Lan died in Olip North. We never found the pirates. His body was taken back to his home in the forest. My charrie still thinks of him from time to time.

 Poor Lan... How did the Knights manage once he became inactive and eventually died? I seem to remember a lot of them looking to him for leadership... Once his leadership was gone, who then lead them? Did they look very far for the pirates? Please, tell me more. Oh, and I don't know if this is breaching any kind of rule or anything, but I'm very curious to know who your character is, if you don't mind telling me. How are the Knights doing in Olip Forest? Is Crag still there? (Sorry for all the questions – I'm really interested to know how things are, but I don't want to play again because I know I'll get addicted, and it'll be bad) I'm very grateful that Lan's body was taken back to the forest – that's where Lan would have wished to rest. It's such a shame that such a strong warrior was lost so easily

Well, after it was noticed that he was asleep, he was dragged into the outpost and Hopper stayed behind with him while the other 3 went on ahead to the next town at the request of Max, the Stone Knight there. There we learned that the pirates had been defeated and we started back home. Crag's still in the forest. The forest has changed some, since Lan's time. Quieter. Not as many newspawns. I play the female that went on the trip. My charrie spends a lot of time indoors, so can't tell you about who's got the leadership roles now.

I remember him, and am unlikely to forget. I am Gunther who was also involved in that whole ordeal, although he went back to his home in the forest so didn't get to see much beyond those few years of conflict.

And I remember Lan like everyone else. My Stone Knight, Qafkat came close to getting in a fight with you (before I became a knight). I probably would have ended up dead from all of the knights attacking me at once. And all over saying something close to "don't shoot the messenger".

Ah yes, how could I have forgotten Hopper? I grew quite attached to Hopper, and so did Lan, although he may not have shown it. Hopper was a very well done character. He certainly livened up the Forest. Lan would have been glad that Hopper was there with him in the end.

I'm glad that you remember Yogo, Talapus, as he was one of my characters that was younger than all the rest, and he didn't seem a particularly important character. That was certainly an interesting few years of conflict, though, eh? Does anyone know what the situation in Akypor is like at the moment? How is Mol Blesset's tavern going?

I think I might remember Qafkat, though not particularly well. I do remember an incident or two involving the Knights all attacking an individual, though the individual shouldn't have been attacked. They were a little trigger-happy at times... How was it that Qafkat managed to survive the that ordeal with the Knights in the Forest?

Mari Buired Lt. Celthin. She was quite sad and has not found anyone since. It is funny. Celthin's name has come up in IC conversations.

Page Arthur Zeus, also of the Stone Knights of Olipifirovash Forest (I believe he was doing stuff with Stone Knight Cherri, and Stone Knight Noah Cobble)

Page Zeus ws with Stone Knights Noah and Shaena (as everyone knows..I play Cherri) But I know they missed him...

Stone Knight Lan Spiretower from Olipifirovash Forest (My favorite character, I still mourn the loss of him)

As for Lan...Hopper has his battle axe... and does Lan proud with it.. He has in the past, shown people the name of Lan, carved in the handle (I belive thats how it went) I remember convos between Lan and Cherri... back when he was an initiate..She was most certainly proud to call him brother!

Just curious: What would constitute a "forgotten" memory? Aren't all memories by definition unforgotten? You can't remember something you forgot, and you can't unremember something you haven't forgotten, although sometimes I remember forgetting things and sometimes I forget that I remembered something.

Anyway. Back to the thread.

I remember Steven Duros... but only because I played Steven Deros who, incidentally, was the person of turned the Cantr City Blacksmith from an empty building into an actual blacksmith.

Of course, he died (of a combination of a ridiculous case of the sneezes and a broken heart), before any of you guys got involved. Man, it pains me every time I see the Cantr City Blacksmith bike I made... :(

I remember Steven Deros, Surly. I think he and my char might have been in love with the same woman. Mine, Luther, was murdered on the road with her. That was tramautic.

Bryn, I remember him.......but I don't recall Mike Gansey. I think he left to get resources and never came back. But he had a couple workers with him, Michelle Delisio and Vincent Grenoble, didn't he? Or did they come after he was gone? Hard to remember. But they're both still around. (Vincent took over the Blacksmith, much to my charries chagrin, and I think it's him riding your old bike, Surly)
