The tribes and groupies thread

Postby mtm21 » Mon May 01, 2006 12:58 pm

I thought this will be a good thread to talk about what is going on in each tribe or groupie. It will be also a good thing to put in the webzine too. A bit like an update. Take into consideration the 4 day rule though. Tribes and groups I am talking about are like:

Collectives 8)
Blackrocks
KORT :D
Karnon Army
Turnic Knights
Or any others you can think of

What happens with my groupies, stays with my groupies. More so when something interesting is happening. Although maybe it's time to give us forum goers another chance to prove that we can keep out of character knowledge seperate from in character knowledge. It will certainly put some more intresting conversation back onto the forum.

Who are the collectives?

Has nothing at all happened since I died? Oh and one of the ways not to quit is running off with your old and new sets of weapons the moment you get promoted. Because apparently that's treachory..... *grumbles on for another page about how much he hated the Karnon army :P*

 well my character was lucky enough to at least get a promotion on his weapon, he left when he got an iron shield and halberd, so it is possible. Just difficult. I can give you some advice if you want

Contrary to popular belief, there was a time when the Karnon Army had a solid base for promotion and it was fun and exciting to be a part of it. But the focus on expanding it and keeping it fine-tuned has slipped in the past cantr decade.

It's not so far gone as to prevent a superior leader from sweeping in and revitalizing it. But there would need to be some drastic changes, and a bit more open-mindedness from a few key people.

And of course it helps if the leaders don't go on unexpected, month-long sleep cycles. :?

What about the DoUrdens?

They're still a small group, based in Flonder.

Very much so.

My experiences of the Karnon Imperials seem to suggest that it was once the hub of K-Isle, but sleepy leaders and a general inability to get things decided and done, has led to a bit of a slump.

We all know there the power on K-Isle rests now ;)

I thought so to. I'm definitely not participating in it, anyway.

And deadboy, just a guess, but I think telling CrashBlizz how his character should act to get a promotion would probably be a bad idea...
