I hate OOC!

Sorry, I just had to say it!

I was having a great time today until a bunch of OOC chatter had to screw things up, and honestly I think the guy who started it was just upset about what was happening to his character and decided to ruin the whole event for everybody else.

And then just to make things worse other people started posting OOC responses to the original guy, which is probably what he wanted, but has anyone ever heard of whispering!? In hindsight I still had fun, but what a way to ruin a moment. :(

I think this happens far too often... unfortunately, it won't change...

Ahh.. then there's the sweet revenge of completely silencing their char forever.

2616-3: You say: *she smiles sweetly* Here's a one way ticket to Oocland... *she smirks as she watches her sabre rip through his gut*

2616-3: You expertly kill Oocly (a man in his twenties) using a steel sabre.

2616-3: You say: Ah, now we can be back home in time for dinner.

At least respond in a whisper next time, okay? Maybe the other guy'd get the hint that way, but then again maybe not...

It's just that whenever I have a really interesting RP session I like to read over it afterwards, it's nice to see it all at once without waiting a long time for the other person to respond or anything like that. Only now I have this huge block of 'OOCs' right in the middle of the exciting part, I guess I'll have to wait for the turn report and edit it out in MSWord or something.

P.S. Way to ditch town and leave me to deal with aftermath! Man, you guys suck! :P

(But four day rule, can't talk much now I guess....)

Depends on the char ;) but that was just a hypothetical situation for me... :D

This is not serious, right? It's kinda breaking the CR ...

Deadboy, it's quite obvious. Her arrogance depicts Shona Kree, sadly enough.

Jos, it might be serious, but I don't think it's breaking the negative-one-thousand-one-hundred-and-ninety-one day rule... :P

 Nooo, Jos, it's not serious... *points at the date, 2616, then points to where she said it was a hypothetical situation*

Besides, I'd never kill a char just for saying OOC stuff... :D

It just gets tempting when you're chasing down a thief and they start yelling OOC stuff at you.. heck, they're gonna die anyway if they don't turn around! And, no, I wouldn't say something about sending them to Oocland...

And the dinner thing, definitely not serious... just noting that in the date everything was said, I put hour 3, and they don't eat until hour 5.. or at least my time they don't...

It was all in fun, I assure you! much like that crazed K-islander elephant killing Nick Blackrock situation!

*makes a note to put the next hypothetical situation in quotes with a bold letter disclaimer*

Thetaris, what was wrong with here post?

Lumin deleted my last paragraph but I still stand by what I said. The CRB was resolved days ago, and even if Robie thought it hadn't been it was EXTREMELY annoying and uncalled for to start posting all that OOC crap in the middle of everything, and like I said, maybe I read too much into it, but my impression was that what he was really trying to do was say 'These people are cheating, don't help them!' And if that's not a CRB I don't know what is.

EDIT: And Thetaris has said he's not Robie, but in that case who is? Thetaris has been the only one posting about him, and trying to get sea access to Zhift Forest and making jokes about faking the weight test...

BTW Thetaris, how am I 'arrogant' for being pissed off at a bunch of OOC comments right in the middle of a tense RP scene? And I don't know if you were referring to Shona or me in your PM, but neither one of us is 'jealous' of Robie, and I'm still trying to figure out what that 'sadly enough' part is about.
