Is it possible to see the weight another character is carrying? I've only heard it talked about in the game once.

You can't see it, but you can do some in game tests to find out how much they're holding...

By handing the character successively less amounts of something?

That works, if you're just trying to give them something... or you can ask and wait for an answer...

"Weight test" usually refers to the procedure of testing whether a character (a suspected thief, usually) has dropped everything in his or her inventory by handing them 15000 grams of something.

really? how? i have forever been trying to think of a way of cheating the weight test, that way i could have a great theif

Figure it out in the game, thats the sort of stuff that could cause a lot of trouble with newer players if it became to well know.

That aside, I haven't ever been weight tested, nor have I given one. So I couldn't tell you how to cheat it from either end, even if I knew.
