Bugs?

Postby Dee » Thu Dec 15, 2005 7:56 am

In the semi finished projects list, there is a repetition of two items, large log is repeated twice, and another thing is repeated I can't remember what it is.

There is also two blank things in the list... Is that a bug?

Thanks Dee,

Resources are aware of the first issue, the 2nd is a bug and on our list to fix

Hope you don't mind the hijacking of topic...but a little annoyance (bug if you will) I've noticed is that sometimes when starting a project for x amount, it will actually create the project for x-1 amount. Just wondered if its just me that gets this sometimes?

You got to be kidding, man.
It says right on the page where you start the project... projects can vary up or down 20%. Plus your skill.

I think he means when you enter 10000g projects, the computer automatically makes it a 9999g project. You're resulting harvest will vary from that. Not really much of a problem, considering the variance of the harvest.

I've had it happen with a 100-gram project that I set up, trying to gather some food which was farmed at a higher weight a day.
Instead of it showing up as a 100g project, it showed up as a 99g project while working on it.
Hardly a world-stopping event at those rates, though I can imagine it becoming more of a beef at larger projects.

It happens with ship and vehicle speeds also. I'll put in 50%, and it will change it to 49%.

No it doesn't, if I put 100% it stays at 100%. But when travelling on roads (and I don't know, maybe ships too since I've never gone under full speed exept for when getting too close to the shore) the speed is in quarks sorta. It gets rounded to the closest set option.

I've had those problems too. Most recently I had a character on the run and I couldn't set my speed to anything less than 5% or it would go to 0%. I have seen this intermittently for a long time. It's never been a real problem for me, though, so I didn't ever post it as a bug.
