Has this ever been brought up? Or is it anything anyone's ever thought about? What would it sound like, or what would the format look like?

It did occur to me when thinking about the staff interviews that have been done for the 'zine.
I have my interview with J-F LeBlanc on my computer still, and have considered playing them on the radio station if there would be any interest in that?
The other interviews since have been done via IM (Thankyou Sarah, sorry I haven't done them, I promise I'll get my arse in gear and do another one)

What is a podcast?

It's a copyright-free, spoken-word recording made available via the internet, usually as mp3.
It got the name 'podcast' as it became a lot more popular after iPods became well-used. Many non-music radio stations now make their interviews / documentaries / plays etc. available for download, and people put them on their iPods. As usual, there are many individuals that do it to, and I'm sure you can imagine what comes out of that, religious zealots ranting, gadget reviews (a large bulk, no wonder considering the audience) etc. etc.
It was in existence long before th iPod, but it's the iPod that's made it boom, and given it the name...

Participatory democracy . . . of evil geek fascists.
(The above does not necessarily represent the views of Sho - it's just funny. Or so he thinks. His sense of humor does not necessarily represent the general public's.)

@ Sho
My contribution to the podcast would be...
nuh nuh nuuuh nuh nuh nuuh nuuhhh nuh nuh nuuuh nuh Kabong!
(That was Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water, to whoever tried to play name that tune with Kabong in Quillanoi Forest several months ago.

)

Heh, that was me... I haven't heard Deep Purple, so I guess there was no way I could've guessed it.
EDIT: Nevermind... I've heard the song.

It goes right along with Hey, hey, hey goodbye as well...even the length of the "nuhs".
