Cantr Not So Different From Reality

Check out this article. Apparently Pennsylvania is considering allowing hunters to use atlatls, a Stone Age weapon, in going after deer. If only they had rhinos and buffalo in Pennsylvania, I'd feel right at Cantr-home.

Well, there are certainly similarities, but I play Cantr as a nice way to get away for a while from reality, much more relaxing wondering how to manage stone, wood, and bones than how to pay off debts and finish essays. :)

The article mentioned hunting deer. I wonder if thats all you can hunt with them. You might allow them to hunt Bear as well, kind of a hunter Darwinism...

Mm.
We all know Cantr relates to real-life. That's the whole point of the game, to link it to real-life as much as possible, with some limitations... Of course.

Only problem the ProgD haven't figured out how to do, and fix, is the issue with punching, hurting, fighting. They need some kind of warning that you're about to be hit, and you can chose to hold up your shield upon the punch- or when you log on, the punch becomes effective... Which hence leads me out of General Chat and into Suggestions! Bye! :P
