Not Quite Goodbye, but...

Postby west » Mon Oct 31, 2005 4:17 am

Hello folks.

Sorry to inform y'all that my real life is getting very busy and I have less and less time to play cantr every day.

I am not dead. I'm getting better. However, part of getting better is accepting that all things must change. One of those things is that I have virtually no time to play cantr anymore.

I'm not deleting my account (stop drooling, Bran and Jon), but I am cutting it down to somewhere between 3 and 5 characters. Some of the others have died already. Some will die before too long. I'll post their names as they go.

Hopefully, fewer chars means more time to play the ones I've got, and I apologize to all those whose lives my absence has made more inconvenient.

ALREADY GONE:
Andersen M. Green
Jess Tel Mira
Cpl. Szjvröd djn Szjpké

SOON TO GO:
?
?
?
?
?
I'm not dead; I'm dormant.

At least you've got your priorities straight, west. Keep it balanced and don't leave us completely, buddy. :)

Not going to be cheering or drooling at all West. So many people have left lately and are leaving. Thinking about cutting down as well myself now.

West is an role model for us all. Slowly weaning himself off like this...Of course, it will take alot of help and support from his family, but I bet that eventually, he can quit and get his life back in order.

If only the rest of us could do that too....

I don't know about the rest of you, but I play because I don't have anything else to do.

There's this amazing sense of guilt that comes with killing off your characters... it's as if you're invalidating everything you've done to get them situated in-game.

Sad when you think about it. *sighs and looks at his character list, figuring out who he can kill off without regret*

Not Szjd! :( Ele will miss him a lot. He was a cool guy...
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

Following West's example of participating more fully in RL ... I'm taking a closer look at my list of characters:

Soon to depart will be -
Daniela (in Karnon Fields)
Isabella (Akypor Path)
Juliana
Sada Blackrock
Jasmine (Allenz Hills)
Graceanne Skylar (Olipifirovash)
Rayne (Brunoi)
Willow (Olip Forest West)
Honesty Stoddard (Unnamed location!)

I will send the email to the PD shortly asking these characters be allowed to die. It's been fun playing some of these, others .... eh! Thanks everyone for an interesting time.

Not Graceanne. :(
Darla will miss her. She doesn't know anyone else in their fledging business venture well.

My character hates Daniela, of course...

But my other character hasn't dealt with Willow much... It'll be sad to see her go..

West, do you play Kiirin?
