What Cantr animal does your character remind of?

Lion - dangerous, respected in some places but mostly hated; oldspawn town leaders and crooks

Wolf - more rare than lions but still deadly, a mysterious and scary creature; oldspawn loners

Gorilla - big and ugly nuissance, ain't it our average pirate?

Hawk - a town guard, usually considered a threat only by unshielded newspawns; being a sharp-eyed creature it sees everything happening around

Desert tortoise - middle-class Cantrian who lives a peaceful life but carries a shield all the time, just in case; relies on defense rather than hostility

Sheep - the factory worker who keeps working in half coma when the boss takes most of the profit; may sometimes show agression but doesn't pose a considerable threat, being the only source of wool makes it a useful creature

Cow - our average potato farmer, just eats and may sometimes show agression but doesn't pose much of a threat, usually found on the plains and hills

Deer - the young forest dweller, may cause some damage but a longbow and a wooden shield is hardly a big threat; spends most of it's time harvesting wood and dreams of building a longboat even though having never been near water

Moose - the bigger, older forest dweller, chomps on smoked meat and loiters around, mostly asleep

Raccoon - a harmless, happy creature, active and talkative on the town square but doesn't care much about big plans in life, rather spends it's time in socializing with other raccoons

Toucan - the show-off, their goal in life is to get lots of clothes and diamonds and make others jealous; usually have the average of 2.4 hourses, a tandem bike (the second passenger slot reserved for a big-ass load of steel!) and a boat

Rabbit - the travelling merchant, moves fast and is seen often and everywhere; also the postmen belong to this group

Desert snake - the small-time crook and a land pirate, usually only nibbling on sleepers in lonely places to get their riches when they keel over

Crocodile - the loner massacrist, has now become extinct thanks to efficient hunting (and the adding of tiredness)

Pigeon - the newspawn, usually protected by law since there's no honour in killing those poor weaklings

---

Got any more? What would be the average sailor? I would say seagull but I've never seen one in game. And how about scorpions? Rarely seen and often stepped on.

Something's needed for the free-wandering sword-owners. They don't really qualify as wolves, necessarily, I wouldn't think. A lot of them are quite harmless, but they certainly have sharp teeth.

Oh, and definitely the mountain goat. Persistantly clings to untenable peaks...

Also wild boars need mention somewhere. Not sure what as, though. Maybe junior lions?

And of course...who is the elephant?

What about the socially downtrodden? would that fall into pidgeon too? although the character i am talking about seems not to be protected by the law. More surplanted by it. Excess Baggage.... story of my life... *wakes up from a daydream*, sorry...

Two of my chars would be wolves, at least once they get their hands on some items - the mentality seems right for lone wolves who are tagging along with a small group in one case, and travelling alone in the other case.
One of my characters seems to be a mixed-up feller... don't know if he's more wolf-like or more raccoon-like.
Then there's one that wants to become a wolf or a hawk, but is hopelessly stuck with pigeon for the time being - and not all pigeons are lucky enough to be protected, some don't even get a chance to do their stuff to a statue before they get attacked
(a close brush with death, but I escaped and reached a friendlier, safer place)
Speaking of statues... we already got pidgeons, so um... eh, never mind.
The rest of my chars is too mixed up to really fit one category more than others, though only one of those has a raccoon-like trait that I didn't see listed; give him a chance and he'll run off with whatever interesting object he gets his hands on, be it a note or a bone... whatever he sees on the floor, that he can carry... heh...
(As a player I actually find that an endeering trait, it makes great comedy... and because of that, I tend to play him in a way that he doesn't swipe stuff that is likely to get him killed, and only when the atmosphere is right.
He doesn't steal for any criminal reasons, he just... wants... to wash the stuff in some creek!
Heh...
Besides, he's also got another endearing trait, he also returns stuff, unless it is just too interesting, and in a few cases in his young life he even returned more than he initially took.

A suggestion for the mountain goat-like chars:
Hard-headed, and an urge to go where most don't want to go?
Majestic, until they're charging at you with their horns?
A strong sense for freedom? (this could also apply to the wolves)

Elephants are the silent, sleeping players that do nothing at all until someone tries to move against them, and then they stomp you.

Don't forget rhinos, buffalos, and pelicans.

Yes pelicans... I've got a Pelican... wanders around (flies) from place to place carrying things and occasionally dropping them if they are no use.

Hmm... This looks like a Cantr Zodiac. Maybe their should be an in-game horoscope maker...

"If you were spawned in 1200-1220, you were spawned in the year of the Buffalo. You are a hard, diligent worker, interested in protecting yourself and the rest of your herd of fellow buffalos. You possess strong teamwork qualities and natural bravery. Dislikes: Wolves, Toucans, and Elephants. Lucky Numbers: 4, 17, 65, 83"

I wonder what animal a person who travels around, unarmed, who is not interested in trading, but merely wandering an collecting stories and accounts of day to day existance would be called... Maybe like a talking rabbit, who observes more than anything.

Or the person who establishes a domain in the least hospitable place, so he can write the laws (mostly because *NOBODY* else seems to know how to do it right, and his version of the four rules is way more comprehensive than any he has ever seen before). Perhaps... a boar?

I have a traveler interested in only one thing, I consider him a quick witted animal, who only see's a use for things that he cares about. Any suggestions, nothing is coming to me.

I see a boar as a very moody, reactionary person who stirs up trouble just because they can. Left on their own with nobody to talk to, a boar would be useless.

In that case, I definitely have a boar.

Oh cool! I've met the King Elephant: Emperor Kellen Rack.

(Will I ever give the poor guy a break? ... Nah! :P )

The person who travels around but ain't a trader... How about the buffalo? They wander too. Then again, wanderers rarely are pack animals... exept in Blojt.

Buffalos would work I suppose, though mine still dosn't fit, he is intelligent, whereas buffalo's have a reputation for stupidity.

Let me see which mine would be:

Udo Koch: Blacksmith of Plaekur, sleeps a lot. Sheep I guess

Nashi Robert Quill Blackrock: now on the new island. Lion sort of

Chris "Penguin" Harak: He's a pirate. Gorrila, then.

Mark Astrup: Seafaring trader, which means Rabbit.

Commodore Alec Ket: Owns two ships and two loyal crewman, starting in trading, though he's quite the toucan.

Jacob Alcula: Former trader, now wanderer. Soon to become Desert snake

John Kunst: Silver Forest Guard captain. Hawk, though he's a threat to more than just newspawns...

Nils Epend: Works in the Empire of Zuzi factory. Can you say sheep?

Ray Heft: Was a trader til his boat was stolen. Former rabbit, now cow

Captain Sam Rogers: Seafaring trader making his way around. Rabbit.

James Robb: Citizen and commoner of Olip west, though he strives to be famous some day. Cow now, hopes to be toucan.

Jim Baker: Lost after his house was sold without his permission. Doesn't really fit in with any catagory.

Dook N. Pants: Hopes to be a trader someday. Raccoon for now.

Conquistador Juan Oso: Establishing his "empire" in the mostly-uninhabited parts of the spanish area. Desert snake and gorrilla.
